It was amazing, and frightening as well! Started off....

Me my brother, 2 of my friends, and my gf were hanging out at my house when suddenly one of my friends found a Puzzle box and started playing with it. I immediately told him to put it down, but it was too late! Electricity started to come out of the box as its pieces shifted into place, and slashes of light started to punch holes through the walls. I jumped up off of the couch and grabbed my brother by the back of his collar and my gf by her arm and raced into my bedroom across the hall, throwing them both to the floor as I kicked the bedroom door closed and locked it. Outside my door I could hear sounds of walls crumbling and cracking as well as my friends screams as the Cenobites invaded my living room. Suddenly, the Lament Configuration came blasting through a mail slot in my bedroom door and the ruckus outside ceased. My brother reached his hand out to grab the puzzle box and I slapped him across the face, almost as if I was waking him from a trance. Without saying a word all 3 of us got to our feet and approached the bedroom door...

I cracked open the door and took a look, but to my surprise we were no longer in my house. It appeared we were in some kind of office building hallway, but the walls were designed exactly like the sides of the puzzle box. Wanting to get the hell out of there, we tried to find our way to an exit however we found ourselves in a lobby with formally dressed men and women walking around. Realizing that there were no doors to escape, we made our way to a gigantic elevator that was located in the corner of the lobby. We were followed in by four other people; a very tall built bald man, a pale woman with dark sunken eyes, a very fat man, and another man that never showed his face. Without thinking to hit a button for a floor, the bald man reached out and hit the single button on the elevator. As the elevator traveled up my brother whispered in my ear "that's the guy that plays Pinhead!" and motioned to the tall bald man. As the elevator came to a stop my brother shook the bald man's hand and told him he "loved his work" and exited the elevator along with my gf. I tried to make my way out of the elevator but the doors shut before I could get past the fat man that was standing in front of me. I tried to tell the man that I needed to get off but he just turned around and stared at me lifelessly. Just then a clicking noise started up, and as I turned to see what it was I came face to face with the Cenobite Chatterbox.

As I slowly backed into the corner of the elevator, the other four people transformed into their Cenobite counterpart as the inched closer to me. "You opened the box we came!" Pinhead boomed. I went on to try and tell them it was not me who opened it, but they didn't want any part of it. Pinhead then made a deal with me in which I had to recover his soul orb in exchange for my own. Of course I agreed, the Cenobites disappeared into the walls of the elevator and the doors opened.

I found myself in a dark, damp basement. The walls were old red and black brick with mold and water stains all over them. On the ceiling were exposed pipes that leaked water and steam. The air was cold and a faint sound of a generator could be heard over the drips of water. Slowly I made my way around the dimly lit basement and came to what appeared to be a butchers room. The room was lit only by a puke green light was located inside the wall in the corner of the room. I made my way around the room examining things, and came across a meat locker. I opened the meat locker and to my surprise the soul orb was located inside! I snatched up the orb and bolted for the elevator. As I reached out to hit the call button, the doors sprang open and inside was the nastiest looking creature I've ever seen. The creature was Part Pyramid Head, part Cenobite, part Leatherface, and very pissed off. The creature had a black hood over his face without eyeholes, that was tied around his neck by what seemed to be intestines. He was wearing the black Cenobite garb, except he was very muscular and dragged a huge knife like Pyramid Head's. I took off to a wooden staircase in the corner of the basement and started climbing. The creature charged behind me smashing everything around him as he ran. I frantically climbed the flight of stairs, which appeared to be endless, as the creature got closer and closer behind me. He was breathing right down my neck as he raised his gigantic knife and swung it down on me! Missing by an inch the giant blade destroyed the staircase and sent the creature tumbling all the way down to the ground.

I reached the top of the stairs and burst out of the door, out into the exterior of the skyscraper that I was in earlier. I looked behind me at the cellar doors and gave them the finger. Anyway, I ran around to the front of the building and found myself in a giant gathering of homeless people huddling around burning garbage cans and eating rats. Making my way through the crowd of people I heard Pinhead call out my name, I turned around and he and his crew were lounging around a burning garbage can. I handed the soul orb over to Pinhead, and he told me I could ask him one question. The only thing that came to my mind was "What's your number?"

This is when my alarm went off and I woke up.

It was totally wild man. It was scary as it was going on, but when I woke up I wish hadn't.

I know how that feels. Have you ever had a dream in which you had a sequel to, so to speak? Some people have the same, recurring dream. I have dream Franchises. :p Those are interesting.

It's amazing that you are able to remember that much. I've had a few franchise dreams.

I had a Chucky dream where the cop from original movie retired from the force and became a science teacher. Chucky winds up messing around with one of the science projects. When the student goes over the project (a helmet of sorts), he puts it on and it won't come off. It crushes his head and there's blood, etc. I dreamed this in the late `90's, early 2000's.

I remember being in a cabin. I didn't see anybody or remember anything other than, but I remember feeling creeped out inside it. I recall there being a "Chi, chi, chi, ha, ha, ha" type of feeling. Was Jason there? Was I going to be hacked to pieces? I think I had this dream in the early `90's after seeing "Friday The 13th Part VI: Jason Lives" on TV. That was my first horror movie I ever saw.

I had a dream where I was in school and Michael Myers was there. I remember one part where a student falls through the floor and into the basement. We see the point of view of someone else in the basement. Who could it be? It ended with me running and crawling away from Michael in the soccer field. I'm pretty sure he killed me. And for some reason, I recall telling others that I actually killed him. I don't remember if I really killed him or I was killed. I was most likely killed. I probably dreamed this after being allowed to see H1-2 in the mid-90's.

This isn't a franchise dream, but it's like yours where I didn't want it to end. It was a nice dream. And it lasted literally three days. There were people I knew from high school and people from grade school. It was impossible for all these people to co-exist, but I didn't realize that. And didn't care. In so many ways, it was better than crappy reality. When I was woken up and told I had to go work, I couldn't believe where I was. I cried. That dream was amazing.

I have many dreams that are better than reality. In them I talk to people that I normally wouldn't know what to say to. Very simple dreams, but I would rather live them. Maybe I dream the life that I wish I should be living.

I also had a dream that I met a character from my novel. At the point in the story, (which was 100% autobiographical) she was major depressed. I had a dream that we met in a dream and I helped her get better like writing her story does for me. I ended up tying that into the story. That is probably the most memorable experience of my life.

Great dream, it cheers me up to see i'm not the only one who's imagination would rather go ape shit for a dream. I used to have alot of reoccuring zombie ones but they havn't come for a while (and i miss them lol, not sure i should). But there's plenty i could mention.

I had quite the horrible nightmare the other night, like it was so disturbing that I was unhinged and didn't talk to anybody the whole day.

Only horror movie related dream that ever bothered me was one I had for Phantasm back when I was way younger.

Now all I dream about is odd crap, nothing cool.

Sounds like you need to go back to sleep and try to continue this thing tonight. Hopefully you will wake up though!!

I had a dream similar to yours, but subtract Pinhead and add the Burger King Guy....

Man, I hate that guy...
