The new trailer for Jarmusch's movie just came out on apple trailers:

It looks pretty interesting. Seems to have a plot revolving around musicians and con artists. It looks like his return to film noir. Isaach De Bankole (French Ice Cream seller in Ghostdog) plays the mysterious main character. The cast boasts John Hurt, Gael Garcia Bernal, Tilda Swinton and Billy Murray among others.

Christopher Doyle's the cinematographer.

I'm pretty excited by this. The trailer has me intrigued.

Jarmusch is one of my favourite no-holds-barred indie directors, and Dead Man in particular struck me as a fucking AMAZING movie, so I'm glad to see the guy is still around and didn't totally drop off the face of the earth, which seemed like what happened after he made the excellent. Broken Flowers 4 years ago. Trailer looks great, cast looks great, and in short, I can't wait for this! Glad to see Jarmusch is venturing back into genres, like he did in Mystery Train, Ghost Dog and some of his other previous films.

I don't know about Jim. I think I have a problem with the pacing of his films, and they somehow feel unrewarding. Whilst most people say Dead Man is his best, I say Down by Law was where he got it right.

That being said, i'm still always oddly attracted to what he's doing next, if only for the cracking cast he pulls together. I'm here for Bill Murray and Gael Garcia Bernal. Oh, and the neat-o poster...

Already saw the trailer and it looks so fucking hip! Last week i saw Night on Earth and it was a spectacular film! It's a shame i've seen only two films by Jim Jarmusch. Gotta see more of his films.

I like Jarmusch so much I even bought Coffee & Cigarettes.

See you at the front of the queue.

Oh, and I am moving into a new place at the end of May. Where can I get that poster in the UK?

Jarmusch is creative enough for me to check out anything he makes.
