The Band - what do you think ??

i`m actually writing another screenplay for the Contest ..but i had this idea and i want to know what do u think about it.

.2 best friends , grown up together..one of them losses his parents while he is teenage he starts to drink , smoke and work for street gangs (he made alot of friends)..but he always had a dream of being in a band , finally it happens when he teams up with his best friend (guiterist) and a singer...they didnt get famous as he desired ONLY one of them took the spot light , his best friend the guiterist..things turn ugly when the two best friends turn against each other..

MAIN POINT : the gangster starts to chase his friend and tries to kill...his a bit crazy..its a thriller NOT action movie

so ... ??

sounds like a bit of a complicated build up for a thriller about someone who gets chased by a gangster unless you're not going for the cat and mouse effect.

Clever build up but like I said, bit complicated for the root you want to take the film.
