View Full Version : Horror Movie Summer Camp?

I am in the early, early planning stages of a Horror Movie Summer Camp, a weekend (or week) designed completely by Horror Fans, for Horror Fans. I am hoping for hybrid event, part Summer Camp (for adults; BYOB) part Horror Convention, part Independent Horror Film Festival. Right now I am just trying to find out if this is something that the horror community would be interested in and be excited about, and if so, what kinds of things would you look for in an event like this? Any comments, feedback, questions, or insane ridicule would be appreciated!

Actually over the course of the camp, we will be shooting a horror movie, that will involve exactly that...

Sounds like a fun idea even though it wouldn't apply to me as I'm stuck up here in Canada, and we don't get anything good involving Horror, at least not in my area :(

That's funny, because the first person I want to contact about appearing, as both a "guest" and hopefully in the movie, is Felissa Rose! What Horror Movie Summer Camp would be complete, without her? All I need to do after that is dig up Cropsy and Madman Marz! ...well, maybe some guy named Jason too.

Haha you should watch the episode of Psych called "Tuesday the 17th". It's the exact thing you're wanting to do.
