I can't handle it.

The surprise ending seems so apparent to me.

Please only offer a yes or no.

Cruises character ends up changing his name and killing himself.

or...

Cruise kills an innocent person while on the run.

Please tell me it isn't one of those two. If it isn't please don't spoil it.

The Movie Minor got it right, it's the same answer on both counts.

I agree with Joblo's review on this one. After the scene with Crow in the hotel, I guessed the ending, and rather like AI it should have ended about 20 minutes before it did.

That is not to say you should not see it though, you should.

I liked how it came out. I think it would've been fine if it ended 20 minutes earlier, but I think I perfer the way it ended as it is.

I loved the ending!!!!

It catches you off guard, i rather see a movie that is fearless in the direction it is taking with the story than a movie that ends the way "we want it to end".

I agree too. And I even liked A.I.'s ending as well. What the hell is wrong with either one. They are fine the way they are!!

Maybe its just me, but I couldn't stand the ending.

SPOILERS

The whole double crossing thing...I just don't enjoy movies that end like that. Then again, I prefer depressing endings. To me, I would have loved for Crow to have been the guy that stole his kid, and that instead of killing him, Anderton proves the system is wrong and kills himself. This would have raised the same questions, but in a different way. Because, the machine meant to stop murders is really what caused one to happen. He also proves the system wrong. That to me, would have been much more powerful, but now saying it, i sound like one sick son of a bitch.
