This may come off as sounding like a Halo rippoff, but it's been in the conceptual stages way before that game was a gleam in the developers eye's.
Anyway, the story revolves around the earths destruction, with a bunch of survivors making it off the planet before it blew up.
They had already started construction of a station on one of the moons of Saturn.
Everything was going fine and dandy, till when on a routine run, a group of several research star ships, saw the Earth reappear, as if nothing ever happened to begin with.
They land upon the newly formed earth, to find it seemingly isolated, yet some alien life forms have inhabited small sections of Antarctica, and the rest the other sectors of earth. From there a battle is waged for this new earth, with recon ships, filled to the brim with the new elites, waging war with the aliens.
What are your thoughts so far, go with it?
or leave it alone. As i wrote this, i have noticed several nods to movies such as Stargate, Starship Troopers, and even a hint of Star Wars.
Feed back please; it's always welcome.
Thanks
