Paul Walker and Vin Diesel spoke at a "Fast & Furious" press junket, revealing that fifth installment in the franchise is in the works. [via HitFix] "It's beyond rumors at this point," said Walker. "I've spoken to executives at Universal and they are pretty serious about it. They are developing it. They know where they want it to take place. They want it to take place in Europe." He continued: "I don't think the best one yet has been made yet. If we were to make a fifth one? That would be the best one in my mind.

Otherwise, let's not do it." If another film were to be made, there is a good chance that "2 Fast 2 Furious" star Tyrese Gibson will be back. Both Walker and director Justin Lin were disappointed that their efforts to include him in the fourth installment didn't work.

According to Diesel, he always planned to make two more films. "I try to think out the story even before we go to shoot the film that's at hand," he said. "So, yes I had been thinking about it. I actually thought of shooting both of the movies back-to-back with Universal with the president of Universal and he was like, 'What? We're just getting our feet back together.'"

Well as of now this is good news to me. If the 4th is bad like the 3rd was though I will be a little let down. So hoping this one is more like the 1st!

Well, I haven't seen part 4 yet. But I will when it's eventually released over here. Part 5 may be the last and best so they say. I also like part 1. And I didn't mind Tokyo Drift.

The Rock desperately needs to fire his casting agent.

The first, while being a totall rip-off of Point Break is still a fun flick, so is the last one. The Rock and Vin Deasel? Cool.

The film is currently being shot in Puerto Rico. Curiously the story of the film takes place in Brazil. And some of those photos were shot the same place where they shot film scenes for The Losers. Dwayne Johnson looks like Denzel Washington on steroids in those pictures. :D

I enjoy all the Fast and Furious movies regardless of how shitty the acting and plot is. I mainly watch it for the cars and stunts.

I'd like to see them wreck either a 71 nova or a 70 Roadrunner in the next movie which would just make mine worth that much more.

The 70 Roadrunner will possibly be Doms muscle car in the next movie. Hasn't had much screen time other than his girlfriend getting killed in it and the cameo he made in it at the end of the third film.

The last one was ok - it had enough good action to satisfy me, and it was actually good seeing Vin Diesel bust some heads again (weird). Probably my favorite since the first, but that's not saying much as 2 Fast 2 Furious was fucking stupid and Tokyo Drift was fairly mediocre. The original was a great guilty pleasure.

I'll see this one. I'm not sure if The Rock looks badass or ridiculous in those pictures (I think probably badass) and I hope they come up with a real story this time, but I do love my guilty pleasures.
