(1) (1) MEN IN BLACK II
(2) (Debut) BLADE II
(3) (2) SCOOBY DOO
(4) (4) SNOW DOGS
(5) (Debut) UNFAITHFUL
(6) (6) BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM
(7) (3) MINORITY REPORT
(8) (5) SPIDERMAN
(9) (Debut) BIG FAT LIAR
(10) (7) SPIRIT: STALLION OF CIMARRON
(11) (Debut) LAST ORDERS
(12) (8) THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST
(13) (9) A WALK TO REMEMBER
(14) (10) I AM SAM

(17) (14) GHOST WORLD
(18) (17) MOLOKAI
(19) (16) ITALIAN FOR BEGINNERS
(20) (20) HAUNTED CASTLE

Blade 2 had a nice first week and i was glad to see Unfaithful debut in the top 5. What Snow Dogs is still doing at 4, I have no idea. Scooby Doo has certainly held it's place well, still in the Top 5. Last Orders had a nice debut, considering it's had very little publicity, but great reviews. Importance of Earnest, I Am Sam and Walk To Remember all slipped out, and will probably drop off quickly.

This week the Australian based thriller DIRTY DEEDS starring John Goodman, Toni Collette, Sam Neill and Bryan Brown, the comedy ALI G INDAHOUSE and the Anthony Hopkins/Chris Rock number BAD COMPANY all open, so next week we will see how they rate.

Well, here we are again http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif another interesting charts. First of all I'm disappointed for what seems to be a weak debut for Big Fat Liar. I loved this movie. I usually like Paul Giamatti and this one just worked for me. Really silly but entertaining. It made $47M in the US. Maybe the stars are better known there.

I won't comment either on Snow Dogs and I Am Sam. Because it's really strange to see them still there while Miniority Report witnesses a big drop (from 3 to 7.. not good i guess). And Blade II opened in second place. A SHAME!

Really looking forward to see what'd come of Bad Company right there. I don't think it'll work and believe it will follow it's US bombing.

btw, Never heard of "Dirty Deeds" before. It has an intersting cast, though..

Hello again Jedi, nice to hear from you. I was hoping Blade II would make number 1. Big Fat Liar might've done better if it opened in the school holidays, but it opened the week school went back so...

I still can't see why Snow Dogs is top 5 and I Am Sam has lasted a lot longer than I thought.

Dirty Deeds might not get an international release, it should though.

Hope to hear from you again soon Jedi. Thanks.

Well, I AM SAM did very well even in the US. Making nearly $40M from 1400 theatres. I still can't understand WHY. Maybe because of the Oscar buzz around Sean Penn (one of his worst performances ever).

Anyways. I'm really interested in box-office charts everywhere. I follow a lot of them from my erea. And yours are just cool. thank YOU http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

Jedi in response to the July 11th - 14th being the weekend. We take it as the day the film opened (the 11th) which is a Thursday. Then Friday, Saturday and Sunday make up the other 3 days.

XCoRyX, Spiderman has been out for 6 weeks, whilst AOTC has been out for 9.

Interesting chart FilmBuff. Blade 2 should've gone number 1. Back to the classification question I asked last week, could you tell me what all of the film are rated in the Top 20, I remember you telling me last week what your ratings were and there were some that were different, MA i remember. If you could do that, thanks. I just wanna see what the films are rated. Keep up the postings.

Wow,spiderman and AOTC dont seem like there doing as well over there.I gotta admit i would have been happier if Unfaithful knocked scooby-doo off the top 3...

Seems really odd that Snow Dogs is doing so well. Do you guys really want to know what a North American winter is like? You wouldn't if you visited here!

It's too bad that Big Fat Liar didn't start off well, despite the title it's not a bad little movie. Better than Snow Dogs, anyway!
