The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 is one of my alltime favorites. It doesnt come anywhere near the original in a lot of categories, but I really dont think it tries to. I love it for several other reasons like Bill Mosesly OWNING the screen as Chop Top in his film debut, Stretchs ass, the great gore and FX by Savini and his crew and last but not least, the character LG.

LG is the guy that made the world famous "Frie House"

He was played by Lou Perryman. He worked on the original Chainsaw as a Camera Operator, did some minor FX, and he was there the whole shoot. He also had memorable roles in Poltergeist and the Blues Brothers.

Apparently some worthless waste of life decided to break into Lous house in South Austin TX and murder him then steal his car.

Lou was a fantastic actor and a wonderful guy. RIP Lou.

Though I wasn't a fan of Chainsaw 2, I do remember being saddened by Lou's death. Poultergeist was amazing. Too bad, :(

This is really tragic news to say the least. A few weeks ago I borrowed my sons copy of "TCM2 Special Edition" DVD by MGM just to check out the new documentary for chainsaw-2, which featured many great interviews with it's cast and crew. Lou was one of my favorite character actors, he seemed like a really terrific down to earth and fun loving person. When you hear about some no good piece of shit taking someone elses life for no good goddam reason it really hits home. Hope they catch and fry this bastard!!!!!

You could see how Lou really appriciated his association with TCM2 and the fans who were fond of his portayal of the loveable L.G. (His) famous line "I built you a little fry house darlin" makes you love this really sweet guy all the more. My condolences to Lou's family and friends. Rest in peace Lou, see you in the next life.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — A man police say told them he stole a car and believed the owner was dead is charged with killing a Texas actor.Austin police Friday identified the victim as 67-year-old Lou Perryman. Perryman appeared in "The Blues Brothers," ''Boys Don't Cry" and "When Zachary Beaver Came to Town."

Police charged 26-year-old Seth Christopher Tatum with capital murder, plus aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in another attack. Sgt. Joseph Chacon says Tatum showed up at a jail facility Thursday and said he was "pretty sure" he had killed the owner of a vehicle he had stolen. Police later found Perryman's body at a home. Investigators say they do not believe Tatum and Perryman knew each other.

my god, the details are getting gruesome.

Evidently, the maniac hacked Lou to death with a damn ax.

This is unreal, the guy seems like a life long loser. He had been out of prison for 3 months and his family is all "oh we thought he was doing so good"

Apparently the killer and his family had tried to put him in some hospital not too long before the murder but they decided against paying for it. Now look what happened.

He hacked Lou up with an axe? Oh I hope this fucker fries in hell.

Judging from the interviews on the TCM 2 SE DVD he came off as a likeable cool dude.

R.I.P. Lou. I'll always remember LG and his fry house:(

Not an ax.

Lou was stabbed to death with gardening shears.

They got the guy, and, God bless Texas, hopfully they'll give him a 1 way ticket to hell.
