Even though I'm a pretty devoted zombi fan, I'm not so huge on novels of the undead. Sure, I dug Pet Semetary, but other than that I've never really taken the time to read any zombi books.

By the way, SPAM! is loooked down upon in these Forums. ;)

Man, if you like that type of novel, read two greats by horror writer Brian Keene: The Rising, and its sequel City Of The Dead!

Not my favorite genre but these books were killer kool!

Would make a great Grindhouse double feature!

Morningstar Strain and it's sequel are excellent as well.

Only read World War Z but it does rank among my favorite books; plan to read Cell by Stephen King at some point too.
