I seriously hate this shit and I believe we, as Schmoes, need to rise up and rant about this. Mazzurbaf is the last straw for me. It's ridiculous.

Maybe acting mods should all be given the power to just delete these type of people instead of having to wait for the right mod to delete them in whichever part of the forum they spam?

I don't know. There's got to be ways around it. Like Bubba suggested in the other thread that maybe they should make it harder for people to join the forum so this won't happen as frequently.

I've been for a hwhile now and it's truly sad to see asscramps bringing their spammy bullshit to this site.
If it were a pay site, I'm sure precautions can be taken to keep stuff like this from happening (though I've seen pay sites where it still goes on...damned frustrating).

Can we get their home addresses and string them up by their balls?

I am a Supermoderator on another website. I joined this site to post about the pest, Masterbaffer. After being banned, it tries to log on, again and again. I purposely lift the ban long enough to antagonize the pest. Tit for tat. If it wants war, I give it war. If I had a way to disable it's computer, I would. It's IP address is 194.8.74.11...It shows up in a field in Yorkshire Dales, Great Britain. Can any of you send it a viral type disease to choke it's computer to death? Thanks.

My forum is much smaller than this one but I get these kind of dipshits too, except the cretins would post porn as well. Several months ago I changed it so that new members have to be approved. I check the email addy and the IP. It's a pain in the arse but it's working *knocks on wood*.

I don't know if something similar can be employed here. Though a lot of these spammers seem to use the same IPs, is there a way to pre-ban IP addresses?

It's a BOT people. This is not a person making all of these threads. You are not antagonizing anyone, you are not calling out any users, it's just spam bots being placed on the forums. Mazzurbaf or whatever is not a person making all of these threads.

I'm just saying this because it looks really silly when people try to refer to these people directly as if they're people in the first place. Sometimes people will make the accounts themselves if they can't get past the captcha tools (they usually do though) but all the posting is bot generated. Just ban and delete them and move on.
