Hilton: 'I'll Act For Tarantino'

Socialite Paris Hilton wants to return to the big screen - but only if she can work with legendary director Quentin Tarantino.

Reality TV star Hilton has scored a number of minor movie roles including 2005 teen horror House of Wax and more recently in last year's Repo! the Genetic Opera.

Hilton loves Tarantino's new picture Inglourious Basterds and is adamant he is the only filmmaker who will be able to properly showcase her acting talents.

She says, "I've always preferred doing reality shows to acting because I can just be myself, but he's the director I'd do it for. I want to be his next 'Bride' like Uma Thurman in Kill Bill!"

This reminds me how glad I am that it turned out to be only a rumor that Britney Spears was going to be in Inglorious Basterds.

I might be confusing it with the rumor that she was going to be in Tarantino's supposed remake of Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!, but I'm not sure.

I don't share people's hate for Hilton. I actually thought she was perfectly adequate in the House of Wax remake. Certainly by no means a great performance and she didn't exactly have much to do in the movie, but she was perfectly okay in it.

I remember reading people's reviews about HOUSE OF WAX when they saw it in the theatre. Most of them said that when Paris died, everyone in the audience cheered.

If she'll only "act" again if QT puts her in one of her movies, than call me comforted. Hell, QT only comes out with a movie every 5 years, give or take, and his next flick comes out in a month or two. So, if worse comes to worst and he does put her in a movie, it'll be at least 5 years before we have to see her untalented ass.

The only long gap for Tarantino was the time between Jackie Brown and the Kill Bill movies.

There is just a 2 year gap between Resevior Dogs and Pulp Fiction. And a 3 year gap between Fiction and Jackie Brown and Kill Bill Vol. 2 and Grindhouse/Death Proof.


I think people just have this perception that he takes a LONG time because of Kill Bill coming out so long after Jackie Brown when infact, he really doesn't take too long in general.

I don't think she really saw Inglorious Basterds, she probably just heard Brad Pitt was starring and that it's directed from the guy who made Pulp Fiction.

i agree. i understand why people loathe her i just do not share that sentiment. i also thought house of wax was very underrated...

I can totally picture her in a Tarantino movie in a 2-minute scene where she plays herself and then walks into some kind of booby trap where we'll see some bomb detonate, scattering bloody Paris bits all over the camera lens. That would work.
