Mel Gibson went off the deep end yesterday at his own church, Holy Family Chapel in Agoura Hills, CA.

According to Radar, Mel got up on the altar and started ranting and raving about how he didn’t want to be judged by his recent actions.

One can only assume Mel has been getting a lot of heat for impregnating his girlfriend while he was technically still married. According to a witness, Mel got up on the altar yesterday in front of two priests and a visiting bishop, and laid into the congregation.

The source says he "paced back and forth, furiously telling the congregation that he would not stand by and be judged and scrutinized.”

Aside from his drunkin incident a few years back I never found anything objectionable about him. He was drunk and ran his mouth making offensive statements. A forgivable offense.

Who cares? Honestly? All the time I read "oh, this celebrity did this" or "this celebrity said that". Why? They're just other people. What, because they are rich and famous the things they say and do are detrimental to my and everyone elses lives? Seperation means the paperwork still shows married, however they don't live together. They live seperate lives, date other people, do other things and not have to worry about the other anymore.

I think the shit he's getting over his love life is kind of ridiculous. Like darkface says, him and his wife were separated - it's really between us. We don't know what was going on there, and everyone standing up against him might only hurt the wife if something is forced out citing her as a reason for the split.

I disagree with this statement. For one I never thought Mel Gibson was all up in anyone's face prior to or after his arrest. He was just an everyday powerfull celebrity. So he built and funds his own church, big deal.

He's a hypocrite. I can think of worse offenses. Matter of fact I've never met anyone that wasn't caught being hypocritical at one point or another, never. When someone makes a mistake I don't think the right thing to do is go after them and tear them down for it, especially harmless ones.

Also no one here can speak on his wifes behalf, but I'd be willing to assume in their three years of being seperated, she's been laid by someone. I doubt she's falling apart over his getting another woman pregnant. She's intitles to much of his fortune and can go do whatever the hell she wants. She's free. and Mel is only human.
