Any fans of Ray Stevenson here? He hasn't got many good roles to his name, but I feel he has a fair bit of potential. Most notably, I feel that his best performance was in HBO'S "Rome" I also thought his small but adequate part in King Arthur was pretty cool too. And I have seen him in a horror war film called the Outpost, which has a sequel due. That was ok. And I haven't seen Punisher Warzone, so I cannot comment on that yet.

He kicked ass in P:WZ, and I just recently saw him in the pilot for Rome which was awesome, and he was awesome in it. He had some fantastic lines too...
Yeah, I'm all for more Ray Stevenson.

Ray will be seen in Book of Eli with Denzel Washington. From The Hughes Brothers (Menace II Society, From Hell, Dead Presidents) and their first film in nine years.

I'm willing to bet that it went the route of the much needed Deadwood film..... nowhere.
But hey, I didn't know that Stevenson was gonna be in the Book of Eli. I'm really lookin' forward to that...

He was awful in Punisher: War Zone. But, in his defense, EVERYONE was awful in that movie because it was just an overall godawful movie.
Plus, I've never seen Rome. So I suppose I'll give a chance in another movie.

Ray is in Cirque du Freak with Selma Hayek, John C. Reilly and Willem DaFoe. It's based on the vampire novel series by Darren Shan. He plays the vampaneze Murlough. Production finished earlier this year and it's set for release in January 2010.
Ray recently finished filming The Book of Eli, Gary Oldman sends him after Eli (Denzel Washington) to get The Book.
He's currently in production on The Irishman with Christopher Walken, Val Kilmer, Paul Sorvino and Vincent D'Onofrio. Set in the 1970s, it's about a real-life Irish American mobster in Cleveland named Danny Greene, and Ray plays Greene.
He has other films lined up too: He'll next go into production on The Tribes of October, followed by a werewolf movie from David Hayter & Dark Hero Studios, Slaughter's Road.
Plus a couple of films in development, a ROME movie to be written by Bruno Heller, and Red Tide about a mute assassin who wants to escape the life of crime.

Bruno Heller is writing the Rome movie as we speak. Ray is in several other projects and you can read about them here:

Looks like getting work isn't a problem for him right now.
