I only own 3 porn films. These 2 and This Aint The Munsters. Munsters is quite amusing and its kinda close to the old show. But I agree that the 2 Pirates films are pretty good with the story and F/X. They are much more solid than anything made for SYFY. The skeleton army (whihch was in the 1st film) was pretty cool and the skeleton crewed ship form part 2 was really neat looking. Especially when the ship splits in half and still sails. For many (not all), the real options consist of unemployment, low income jobs, or a dangerous job. They take the dangerous job and they have the chance to leave their dangerous neighbourhood. Which of the tragedies do they choose.

Porn probably isn't a healthy lifestyle. It's obvious a lot of women in the industry are traumatized by it to whatever degree. The key to the pornography we're taking about is that we aren't discussing controversies of underage kids, slavery, so on. We're talking about legal willful exploitation. People should be well aware of the abuse in porn. The audience certainly should. I think that's part of the enjoyment. Voyeurism and degradation are bedmates. I suppose there must be some misunderstood glamorous impression of porn, but young people who would have that impression are frankly impressionable, and they're susceptible to all sorts of abuse- in porn, at home, in a relationship. I don't have an interesting answer for it. The best way is well-known: educate these girls and continue to support programs that help troubled youths so they don't feel the pressure or desire to turn to a porn lifestyle.

It's sad that abuse happens, and it's sad that already knowing abuse happens doesn't deter me from watching. It might even excite me. I think it's really tough to mellow sexual practices, fantasies and habits. I wouldn't want anybody I know going into the porn industry, but I'm still audience to the industry. So that's tricky.
