Post your latest purchases here, ask for advice and discuss designers, trends, accessories and the rest.
I bought this totally 'Grannified' print dress from Amazon yesterday (a result of alcohol and a freebie £30 voucher).
It will either be the best frock ever or a total fashion no-no. I don't particularly mind looking like a 1920's war widow or a buttoned-up pensioner but I still have reservations.

It's hella hot yes?
Oh dear.
Oh, and my favourite designers are Alexander McQueen, Marc muthafucking Jacobs, Viktor & Rolf, Hussein Chalayan and Vivienne Westwood.
Let the posts commence...

BCV, When the weather over has been as hot as it friggan has been, you could walk the streets in a pair of underpants and you'd fit in. I don't think that frock is a bad as your making it out, as long as it keeps ya cool
Bought these both Saturday gone.

What do you guys/gals think of the "Three Wolf Moon" phenomenon (http://www.amazon.com/Three-Official-T-Shirt-Cotton-Sleeve/dp/B000NZW3IY/ref=cm_cmu_pg__header)?

I have considered buying it but I think the meme might be old by now.

wolves are cool. I wouldn't wear it though, I'm not into logos or images on my clothes. I'm a boring bastard, I only wear grey, dark grey, or black, solid colours.

This weather is KILLING me right now...I'm truly a wimp. I'm showering 3 times a day and fanning my whitey face at regular intervals.
I really like the colour and style of the Nike dunks. The colour is particularly great.
The dress reminds me of the French New Wave, for some reason.
Faith in my questionable taste is restored. Oui oui.

Wolves never go out of fashion. I fucking love those animal tee/jumper prints a la Brett of Flight of The Conchords. My boyfriend has owls, wolves, coyotes, the whole shebang.
Favourite pieces anyone?
I love my Marc Jacobs mouse flats...
http://www.vidalicious.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2007/10/mouseflats.jpg
But I did get slightly pissed-up a couple of weeks ago, and they kept flying off as I tried to walk home so I trundled on shoeless, ragged my foot up on council estate diamonds and then filled the insoles of my shoes with a mixture of mud and blood.
Shame on me and my inability to refuse beer and act like a lady.

Alright, so here is the place to post essential purchases, buy the right gear, or ask the people in the know where to find the latest trendy t-shirts/buy the coolest clothing.
I am looking for a long-sleeved striped t-shirt (white with navy stripes, if possible).
I would also like to bring back Clark's Wallabees (sand), and your help is really needed with '70s, '80s and early '90s baseball, American football, and basketball t-shirts and replicas.
Favourite labels;
Adidas
Diesel
Replay
Commes de Garcons
Christiane Dior
Superdry
Nouaveau Riche
...but mainly second-hand stuff.
My style icons:
Peter Cook
Wes Anderson
Michael Caine
Bjorn Borg
Carl Barat

There was already another thread for fashion, so I merged the two.
As for the long-sleeved striped t-shirt, they have a lot of those at Old Navy and the Gap
Example: http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=5254&vid=1&pid=675455&scid=675455012
I don't know if you have these stores there however.

Thanks, BTMC. I shoud have known Lady Version would beat me to a thread.
The striped top is a bit too heavy - I need a long-sleeved t-shirt to fit under a leather or denim jacket.
Many thanks, though.

I'm rather unstylish. I just rock big lion and coyote sweaters like Bret from Flight of the Conchords, blue jeans, and mostly sandals. The dress code of a true bachelor…

I'm not stylish as well, I guess. But I likes what I likes. I'm going to invest in some cardigans soon. As for shoes, I like flats. I can't stand heels at all, so uncomfortable. I wear eyeglass chains, I need to get more colorful ones though.

My uncle-in-law has always worn those shirts, and like stuff with unicorns too. We had fun when Napoleon Dynamite came out.

I think Affliction make some cool tees. But your right in saying that they are hindered by the ammount of MMA wannabe idiots wearing them.

I just made a purchase on a LUSH over-sized-black-and-white-striped-hairy-knit number. I've tried my damnest to find a pic, but cannot.
and if that fails to keep the warmth in...

I just got a crackin' pair of loafers and all- again no pic as I pulled them from a dirt pile in a second-hand shop.
Also, these badboys...

I think the only T-shirts I own with anything on them are my work shirts. Otherwise, single color, all the way.
But I make up for it with my vast array of goofy and/or Hawaiian overshirts. Enough to put good ol' Chunk to shame.

I was at the mall today and they had a both set up with various wolf-styled T-shirts, including the THREE WOLF MOON shirt!!!
My wife talked me out of going up to the booth and saying, "Hey, my buddy has this shirt with 2 wolves howling at the moon and he's always bragging about it. I'm wondering if you have one with 3 wolves howling at the moon, so I can show him up!!!"
She reminded me of the time, we couldn't remember exactly what it was, but I had gone to the store to buy something for camp value and the clerk was a huge fan of whatever it was and talked it up, and I ended up feeling kind of bad for buying it for the wrong reasons. Horrible anecdote when you can't remember the details, but still...
Three fucking wolves!!!!

I've been a bit out of fashion since having a kid - not sure why. People used to always comment, favoring my style. Back in the mid-late 90s, I always dressed in short sleeve button ups and poly slacks with docs. Nothing I was really aware of, just that I worked a professional job and liked the difference between being at work and being at play being whether my shirt was tucked or untucked. Most of what I bought was a combination of thrifting and closeout stores.
I need to spend more time buying clothes that I like, because I like them and they are practical, and less time just replacing clothes that wear out, but damn - kids clothes are so inexpensive and fun to buy. I might look like a victim, but my kid is going to get many more miles out of the compliments.
One thing I made for him was a shirt I made taking the "You Like This" with the thumb up image from facebook, put of a sleeveless shirt. People love that. I also made a T-shirt using the lettering style from Sex Pistols "Never Mind The Bollocks" and it says "No Future" --- that one is great just because I get mean looks from the snobbish soccer moms.
(thumb up) You like this.
