You foul beast. I can't go very far in Seattle without hitting one. I live within a mile of two. There's a mall that has a vendor inside and a sit-down one right outside.

My point is...If you frequent Starbucks (or another evil chain :p) what beverage do you enjoy? Please be specific. I'm expecting lots of "Coffee :D"

When I go I get an iced green tea or a mocha frappucino.

Oh god... Did I inadvertently rip him off? Well what I'm saying is true, damn it. :(

EDIT: I didn't see the link. Will watch it.

EDIT2: Ha, that's good stuff. :)

No worries, it's probably more of a "great minds think alike" thing.

I love Lewis Black and whenever I get involved in a conversation on the subject of Starbucks, I start quoting him.

... and yes, the mass-production of Starbucks is a sign that the end is comming.

As I said in the other thread, I'm not a coffee drinker. Coffee is like drinking ex lax. I dislike Starbucks too. Their coffee is way overpriced and not very good.

If I was forced to buy something there, I would order an iced orange black iced tea lemonade, lightly sweetened.(a good summer beverage).
But I only go there to be around girls.

I fucking love Starbucks and the cute girls that work there.

French roast, or their pike place blend with a little room for half n half.

Starbucks is anything but evil.

There is an intersection here with 5 Starbucks at it. Two on the road, one in Barnes and Nobles, one in Target and one in the Mall.

I don't like the candy flavored dessert drinks. I usually stick with a latte or just plain coffee.

When I wanted to hang around and use their internet (I had none at home for several months), I ordered a iced venti green tea.
Then, I'd get a refill for $.25 and so for three bucks I got two drinks.

THEN, I got a Starbucks card registered for free, and after that all my iced tea refills were free.

If I'm feeling more adventurous, I like me caramel macciatos.

Yay for Starbucks! I was never a big fan until my boyfriend (and now-Coffee Master!) started working there over a year ago. He, along with his coworkers, really take their jobs seriously and know everything there is to know about coffee.

I enjoy soy caramel macchiatos (iced or hot, it doesn't matter!) and now they are serving soy frappuccinos, so yayyyy. =) I also love their passion tea lemonade.

Iced Vanilla or Mocha Lattes
Vanilla Bean Frappuccino
Sometimes a Caramel Macchiato or one of their Vivannos.
I usually just get an Iced Coffee though.

This is something I've noticed. I wonder if it's part of their hiring criteria? Not complaining, I'm no equality activist.

On the seldom occasion I visit Starbucks, I never get coffee (I only like coffee when eating at a diner, for some reason). I always get an apple fritter, and the cute girls are ever judging, with their black soulless eyes.

Love Starbucks...I will usually order either a Venti coffee of the day or the very excellent Pike Place Roast..Black,no cream,no sugar...If its really hot and humid out and I'm not going to be sitting in Starbucks I'll get a Venti Black Iced Tea with sugar

Venti Black Coffee with a triple shot of espresso.

Or a Mocha Frappe with 4 shots of espresso.

Or a Strawberries in cream 4 shots of espresso (its almost like eating a Tommaco)

I used to work at Chapters, and every chain has a Starbucks attached to it, so I often found myself over there on breaks. All about the Mocha Fraps. My ultimate weakness.

You clearly have more will then I do. I would've caved immediately after entertaining the idea. :D

I've been inside a Starbucks a few times, but I have never bought anything from them.

Oh gosh .. LOVE Starbucks. And don't even drink coffee, haha! But I also think it's kinda evil, because let's face it; they are rather expensive.. It's really my only budgeting weakness.

At least two times a week I have a non fat extra hot venti Chai Tea Latte at a staggering $4.21 a pop. But oh man, I have to drive 50 minutes to work and it is the perfect wake up drink for me in the car.

Twice a year I will have a Iced Caramel Macchioato with an obscene amount of caramel, and every now and then as a dessert I will have a Green Tea Frappachino. They loook nuclear, but soooo yummy.

Remember the days when people asked you if you wanted tea or coffee and that was where the conversation ended? It was literally one or the other and if you didn't like it you could drink all the fresh air you could handle.

I miss those days. Starbucks menu looks like the human genome to me.

Thankfully I hate coffee and I hate Starbucks, so it's win-win!

I hate Starbucks. I imagine hell looks like Starbucks. I don't even care about their coffee. It's not much better than any other decent cup of coffee, but that's not it. I'm indifferent toward everything they sell, I just can't stand being in a Starbucks. It's a terrible feeling. Like being in a mall or a department store, or even a hospital. Maybe it's the way they decorate the place, but it's so overly sanitary and prefabricated and aggressively uncomfortable, it just feels like dying. It's an awful place.

I like their drinks, but they are overpriced. From what I hear, they do pay their workers well with good benefits, so, it does make sense why prices are higher than other places. I hope this paragraph makes sense.

The biggest problem with them, is they expanded too quickly, and you can find one anywhere you look it seems. It is like most fast food places. I was in this one area, and there were two Mcdonalds maybe a 500 feet away from each other.

Places lose their appeal quick when there are too many of them. Then, they become their own competitor.

I have had a French Vanilla iced coffee thing there once or twice. The wife loves the Caramel Machiatto thing. The only reason I go there though is for this awesome caramel brownie with pecans they have. Not sure if all of them have it but it is so good and you instantly gain 10lbs by eating just one. I have not had one in about 6 months but man they are good.

Totally agree. I actually think Starbucks is great place for coffee and tea, but I don't go there very often, because it's not cheap. I used to be addicted to it, but I've been able to stop myself. However, when I do stop at my local Starbucks, I love Iced Vanilla Lattes, Iced Green/Black Teas, and especially the Green Tea Frappuccino.
