I love a good Vanilla Coke from a diner.

I like both, but I tend to lean more towards Pepsi.

Ditto.

I'll take Cherry Pepsi over Cherry Coke, though. I'm not a big fan of the latter.

Cherry coke is my favorite beverage.

I'm fine with pepsi too though. There isn't THAT much of a difference.

Actually I usually buy store brand cherry cola. It's only 67 cents as oppose to $1.35 for cherry coke/wild cherry pepsi.

Yep, I'm a cheapskate.

There isn't THAT much of a difference.

That may be true, but there is a difference nevertheless. Someone could blindfold me and pour each drink into a cup, and I could tell that person which drink is Pepsi and which drink is Coke.

Pepsi easily.

But again, just a preference. I don't find Coke disgusting or anything.

Truth be told, I like Dr. Pepper over both.

Coke.

Easily.

Pepsi is sweeter than I would like and more syrupy.

Nima

Pepsi.

For some reason if I have more than half a Coke I'll break out, but I can have a Pepsi keg tapped straight into my veins and I'd be fine. It's really weird.

Diet Coke. That and water are the only liquids I drink during the day.

Only Yankees drink pepsi!

True Texans drink Dr. Pepper. :D But if I had to choose between just the two I would definitely go with Coke.

Coke all the way... Diet Cherry Coke to be more specific! Regular Coke gives me stomach cramps.

I am a total coupon fiend and I collect Coke Zone points. My sister works in a cafe and also collects the bottles for me too. Over the course of around 18 months I have managed to bag an Xbox 360 with Lips and 2 microphones, £200 of Spa Vouchers and a pretty nifty Sony Ipod Dock with CD player and separate speakers. Back of the net!

Either one is fine with me. I probably choose Coke a little more though.

Definitely Coke. Preferably a tall glass of Cherry Coke in an old fashioned diner setting (w/a patty melt and fries).

I would say Coke, but I love Pepsi as well. Don't want to start an argument here, but being Canadian and having traveled to the States numerous times, I can say that Coke and Pepsi in Canada are much better than Coke and Pepsi in the States. I remember learning about the reasons why in an economics class, something to do with the States using different sweeteners because of their relations with Cuba.

Perhaps that's why I thought American Milky Way, Mars Bar and Snickers tasted artificial and bittersweet in comparison to the British versions.

No offence America...Reeces pieces and NutRageous are the best.

I can't tell them apart and don't like soda much anyway. But if I have to, I go with Dr. Pepper or any of its varieties.

Reece's pieces - peanut butter and chocolate deliciousness.

I only drink pop when I'm at the bar, or mixing a drink at home.

Jack and Coke rolls off the tongue better than Jack and Pepsi. So I say Coke

Yikes. I can't believe how may fans here prefer ass-cola (Pepsi).

I think there is a huge difference. Pepsi is very sweet and syrupy, while Coke is more harsh and less sweet.

Pepsi out of a fountain is okay, but just plain nasty out of a can. I prefer RC cola to Pepsi.

My list of drinks:

Coke
Cherry Coke
Barqs root beer
Fanta Orange
Vault
Stewart's Peach Soda
A&W Cream Soda

Okay drinks:

Mr. Pibb
RC
A&W Root Beer
Sunkist Orange
Sprite
Sierra Mist

Nastiness:

Pepsi
Dr Pepper
Mug Root Beer
Squirt
Mt Dew
Sam's Choice (any flavor)

It's true. That's why the CIA and gov't really hate Castro. He had Che Guevara steal the actual Coke recipe at his UN meeting in 1964 and that's why Coke hasn't tasted the same. They've been bargaining their secrets with other countries for years but not with the US, hence the embargo.

In actuality, what you're talking about is also true in Mexico. They use nothing but cane sugar to sweeten the soda while in the States, it's corn syrup. It gives it a different texture and flavor. One thing I noticed is that Coke from the states leaves a nasty film in your mouth whereas Mexi-Cola doesn't. It's more crisp in flavor.

In my younger years, I woulda gone with Pepsi...but I'm all about Coke now. I still enjoy both though.

COKE. My dad is a Georgia boy so he raised us to think Pepsi was the devil coming from the Southern Californian Taco Bell bowels of hell. I don't know how much of that is true, but when I was younger I believed it.

I flip flop when buying them in the 20oz size but it is a 2 liter of Pepsi everytime if I order pizza. Nothing goes better with pizza than Pepsi, except for titties.

Coke all the way.

Its a really weird thing that Ive got but everytime I even smell Pepsi I get a headache. So whenever I go to Pizza Hut or another place that sells Pepsi its either Dr. Pepper or Mountain Dew.

I also love Ale-8 One but people that arent from Kentucky wouldnt know bout that.

And whenever I go to Taco Bell a Baja Blast is must.

The blue Mountain Dew (Voltage I think is what its called) is also really good.

Pepsi. Because Coke leaves that syrupy-stickiness in my mouth...and they have Mountain Dew. :D

But I'll take either so long as it's not that Sam's Club crap.

Go with Coke, but Pepsi is fine too.

Best drink is called Chinotto, the Italian coke.

Interestingly enough, I prefer Pepsi over Coke, yet I prefer Vanilla Coke over Pepsi Vanilla. I guess I prefer the taste of Pepsi, but find that Coke just goes better with vanilla flavor.

Depends what im eating it with i guess. I used to drink Coke, but i found Pepsi did better for my pimples as a teenager so switched to that, which has been pretty much my main cola since.

Although nowadays Sanpellegrino Chinotto (Italian style of Coke/Cola) is very much up there with both.
