I thought midweeks would be relativly high for SL2. I though it'd make $3-3.5million a day. Considering the very big # of theatres.
It seems as if this one is going to be one of the biggest summer disappointment.
Good for RTP anyways..

I think Stuart Little 2 will have very good legs just like the first one. The word of mouth and reviews have been great. The first Stuart Little opened similar and went on to gross at least 140 Million (I can't remember the exact amount)...
Anyway, it'll do just fine...

SL2's Monday numbers are quite good compared to what it made on the weekend, so I agree with Mike, I think it will have great legs.

I seriously doubt that Stuart Little 2 will make any more than $80 million on its entire run. If it does, you can hit me with a stick. It definitely won't have the legs of the original one, but Monday's numbers do promise a pretty good success, but I'd heavily doubt a gross of more than a hundred million.

I think it's headed for $75-80 million, myself.

eight legged freaks have been such a dissappointment in b.o. i don't get it, the movie IS good! i guess no one shares that opinion w/ me.
I still believe that SL2's midweek is not that strong. it's not even gettin $1000 per theatre average that many movies have had in their first weeks.
Hope it'd hold this weekend or it's gonna be a major disappointment. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/frown.gif
Still, RTP is doing VERY good. Dunno if they add another screens this weekend. any idea about that?

Friday's Numbers:
AUSTIN POWERS IN GOLDMEMBER - 27.144
STUART LITTLE 2 - 3.324

REIGN OF FIRE - .988
MINORITY REPORT - .925
HALLOWEEN 8 - .870
No huge suprises this week. I did expect Austin Powers in Goldmember (8/10) to have lower numbers but oh well...
Anyway, here are my predictions for Austin Powers in Goldmember:
Friday: 24.32
Saturday: 24.51
Sunday: 20.09
Total: 68.92

2 ROAD TO PERDITION 11.02 3 65.6
3 STUART LITTLE 2 10.70 2 34.8
4 MEN IN BLACK 2 8.70 4 173.6
5 K-19: THE WIDOWMAKER 7.33 2 25.0

9 MINORITY REPORT 3.13 6 123.4
10 MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING 3.01 15 35.4
How did "Minority Report" and "MBFGW" get back in here is my question?
"Stuart Little 2" and "K-19" are going to be flops by the end of their runs.
Yay for Goldmember (9/10, the funniest in the series!)

MFGW expand his theater but for Minority Report i have no single idea. Maybe people realize that MIB II was boring and that MR was a really great movie http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif
