I hate this shit. When they replace the original CHILD actor, with another one and make a sequel. Like Problem Child 3 or any 3 Ninjas sequel. Can you guys name anymore of these shithole crapfests? Sandlot 2?

When a movie is about a child and that child is now an adult, it only makes sense that they re-cast and use different characters in a similar circumstance. If, however, they recast the actor for the same part, that's when it gets a bit annoying. But at the same time necessary.
I do not see the problem with it.

I have a problem with it because it's often just adding more needless sequels.

You haven't seen Home Alone or Home Alone 2!? Those were like my favorite movies as a youngster, up 'til I was introduced to the Nightmare Franchise and in particular the Dream Master! If you have kids you should most-def rent it for them. Veer away from the third one though, the got a new kid, and it just wasn't the same. :(
I agree that it is annoying to re-cast characters in sequels, and more often than that, remakes. (Like recasting Freddy Krueger.) Especially when the character/actor was a fan-favorite. But it can be necessary with child-actors...

The 3rd and 4th Home Alones were straight-to-video releases and were just trying to cash in on the franchise's success. Nobody saw them. And it's not the first time it's been done.

The 3rd one was released in theaters, but did poorly. It probably made its budget back, but compared to the first two, it was not good enough.
The first two were great, and I still find myself watching them when they air on TV, usually around the holidays. We all wish we were Kevin, and fighting off the bad guys.

He shoots he scores!
Good call.
They don't care if their needs to be a "Home Alone 6: The Undiscovered Country". They'll just put it on Blu Ray and give each other handjobs because they're so pleased with themselves.
No thanks.

Never Ending Story 3.
Loved Home Alone 1 & 2. Nothing used to make me laugh harder as a kid then watching Marv take brick after brick in the face, oh shit those were some good times.
I only watched 3 long enough to realize that it had nothing to do with the first two and i wasn't aware they made a forth one.
