The book is pretty good, I'm sure this will be catnip for female audiences, so look for this to do well at the box office. I'm a little wary with the director of Flightplan at the helm.

I think this looks really good and I love McAdams. I'm definitely there.
This really looks like a better than usual August.

Fan of Bana and McAdams, but this doesn't really look all that good. I'll be seeing District 9 and The Goods before I see this.

This looks like the type of movie I'd need to watch with a bucket nearby. The trailer made me want to puke it was so sappy.

I'm a big fan of the book, but I think this movie is simply going to take be a watered down version of the film that takes out everything that made it good and leaves us with a shallow outline of the film. It'll be nothing more than a chick flick. I'd be very surprised if it weren't.

Very nice movie. A unique film that combines the bizarre facet of random time shifts with a romantic tragedy. Both Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams cement their status as genuine leading actors with two absolutely amazing performances. Bana's performance is high award level caliber and I honestly haven't seen better this year. The time travel is never really explained nor really makes much sense. You have to except the fact that he can't change events even though it would seem rather easy to do so. This movie definitely falls in to the tear jerker chick flick category but there really are some touching and moving moments throughout the film.
*SPOILER*
Talking to his departed mother on the subway and meeting his daughter for the first time are genuinely emotional moments that carry the movie. Powerful stuff.

I wanted to throw a vicious haymaker at everyone I saw walking into this movie, because the screen was right next to Basterds and they were showing at the same time.
It was like the patrons of the cinema were walking through an invisible sifter that separated awesome taste from shitty.

I broke down and took my wife to see this today for our Anniversary. It wasn't as bad as I had expected it to be. A bit on the slow side but better than I had imagined. (6.5/10)

Has anyone notice that they spelled the word "traveller" wrong?

Haha, it's an American thing (kind of like how they spell it harbor instead of harbour). I don't know why it's like that, it makes absolutely no sense. Thank God Canada doesn't spell it the same way. :D

It's called "girlfriend rulz"... you'll go and YOU'LL LIKE IT!
Pull your punches, Francis. I'm going to see Basterds today.
