so these releases kind of creeped up on us, they come out this tuesday (Aug 11)

but i can not for the life of me figure out if there are any special features n these things?!

I see they have extra shit in it... but what are the actual disc specs.. if it is just the movies, i wont upgrade, but if they have some good extras on the discs i will buy the Blu Rays.

also.. i just saw, apparently there are ZERO new bonus features on these releases... so heads up on that.

this is what some dude posted on amazon

At first, I thought this was a great idea and an awesome buy. My two favorite TMNT movies as a kid were being brought out onto blu-ray finally. (Ninja Turtles and Ninja Turtles: Secret of the Ooze)

I actually hate the 3rd film, and I already have the 4th film on HDDVD, so, I was basically gonna throw down $56 for the first two movies, only because it was going to be fully remastered and supposedly had deleted scenes, trailers, commentary and whatnot...until...

...I researched these rumors, only to find out that Warner Bros e-mailed someone on a forum board, letting them know it's the same basic movies that they released on DVD years ago, with NO BONUS FEATURES WHATSOEVER!

And with that, I advise everyone to steer clear of this horrible blu-ray release. If and when they smarten up and bring out the real 25th Anniversary Special Collector's edition filled with amazing special features (because there's a lot, I've seen a bunch on youtube), then I'll buy it. Until then...you just lost yourself a sale.

I was going to get them, but no features, screw them. I will gladly keep my money on a, hopefully, better release.

Its a shame such a great movie series has never had a decent audio commentary track, that is all I really want.

Oh and the alternate ending that revealed the TGI Scientist guy in 2 to be a Ultrom like Krang.

Nothing on mine.

Lame packaging from what I've seen.

How can this be a 25th Anniversery edition when it hasn't been 25 years yet?

It's the 25th Anniversary of the comic. Threw me off as well as the first film is only 19 years old.

Maybe when the films 25th Anniversary comes around they will release another one with features.

Im looking forward to the deleted ending of TMNT 2 where the TGI Scientist is revealed to have a Ultrom in his Belly (Krang)
