If you're into heavy-sounding music, then I would highly recommend the Swans, preferably the stuff they put out in the 1980s (minus The Burning World). Their first five albums are brutal as fuck. Start with Children of God, their most acclaimed work. If you're into that album, then check out Filth, Cop, Greed, Holy Money, and the Young God EP - Filth is quite possibly one of the ugliest-sounding records I've ever heard (in a good way, of course). And if you really want to give your eardrums a test of the wills, listen to their 1986 live album, Public Castration is a Good Idea. Noisy, noisy shit.
After Children of God, they ventured more into post-rock territory in the 1990s before breaking up. If you're more of a post-rock fan, then I'd highly recommend Soundtracks for the Blind, their final album. The Great Anihilator is also a good album (probably their most accessible).

Based on what I know, I'd say you should try Weezer, the Killers, The Beatles, the Kinks, Queen, and Eric Clapton. But no, I recommend you enough music on aim. :-D (how could you forget about Tenacious D on your list though!)

Thousand Foot Krutch - Welcome to the Masquerade
I'm listening to it right now, and it rocks,
It's Christian Rock, but they don't get preachy.
Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed .
It has some slow songs on it, but it's all good.

Bahs,
I like a lot of the bands you listed, LOVE Radiohead, and I've recently been addicted to Arcade Fire. They're awesome. Also, I'd reccommend Guster.
