Heres my plot tell me what you think:

World War 2 was ended 57 years ago. Hitler shot and killed himself is what the reports say. But they were wrong. He is still alive and is 113 years old and making plans to bring back his Nazi party. The U.S.A was shock to hear of this news and also heard the new Nazi party were going to invade. So the government send all the colored people to Germany to fight the nazi, but the blacks hated u.s.a for just only sending black people, so they made a deal with Hitler to join them to destroy America together. When the government heard of this news, they plan to nuke the whole country and they did. But the nuke had a commical that made the dead bodies come back and they became like Nazi Zombies. So the Nazi Zombies came to America and invaded America. The government was powerless against the Nazi Zombies, but their is one man to stop them and his name is...... Tim Carman! He is just a normal guy that loves to plant trees, but he knows what he must do to protect his country. He becomes insane during the times he is fighting Nazi Zombies.

I don't think a movie about a man who murdered Jews by the thousands being still alive is a good idea. I mean, many of us (not including me) here are Jews and it would be extremely offensive. Try to do something that doesn't involve mass murder.

This might be a bit offensive but its not like its some well thought out pre meditated act of terrorism on SmaugD's part.
And its not kust that, my Schlinders List 2 post (which actualt had nothing to do with Scliders List) was received poorly and to a varage of stupid responses.
While some of you may tell me to grow up (and someday I might) some of you need to go up to your mothers bedroom, open her purse, reclaim your balls and start acting like fucking adults.

Look, I am a good friend of Ezikel's, and we are both Jewish, and proud to be so. If we had to go around making sure that we never upset anyone, then we wouldn't be able to make films. Anyone remember that Christmas episode of South Park where they tried not to offend anyone? They ended up having a terrible time. You cannot please everyone, it is impossible, and inevitably some people will get offended. Us Jews have hade almost 60 years to deal with what happened to us in the war, and I for one have no problem with this idea. Ditto Ezikel's "Schindler's List 2", which I think would make a good musical.

Not to be rude but does it only 60 years to get over the murder of six million people. Come on, time cannot ease the pain caused by these events. Its something in history that was horrible. IT SHOULD NEVER BE USED FOR COMEDY!! Thats like going and pissing on every mass grave site.

Hey I responded. Just because I found the joke in bad taste does not mean my response was stupid. First of all, the post was pointless. Second of all, the holocaust SHOULD NEVER be used as a joke. People suffered and died.

I think that says it all. Zombie Nazis. He isn't writing a factual documentation about WWII. Its about Nazi Zombies.

If you properly read my post above I didn't say anything about his post being offensive. I just answered your claims about my "stupid" post and the claims that we should just get over the holocaust by boggie.

I'm not trying to start I fight so. Lets just leave it at that.

the script just seems like the guy was writing off the top of his head.

Let me get this correct: The film has the US goverment nuking all the traitorous black people, along with Nazi's, and then the United states is attacked by Zombies of said ex-Hitlerites and black people?

Well, I can't see anything at all offensive about this! Hmmmmm...

Seriously, I would love to hear the justification arguments for this. And don't say, 'it's a comedy' - that crap doesn't fly with me unless the writer is a) a black jew or b) Richard Pryor and Mel Brooks.

Fine, then Monty Python could not use the Crusades in The Holy Grail, Mel Brook could not use them in Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Springtime for Hitler in The Producers was in VERY bad taste, etc, etc. Look, the best way to get over anything is to laugh about it. My grandfather and great-grandfather were killed in the Holocaust, but being hypersensitive about it will not help anyone.

I'm fine with the whole poking fun at the Nazi's and using comedy to lessen the hurt of the Holocaust etc. Where I am decidedly less amused is when his script sends all the BLACK soldiers to Germany and they befriend the Nazi's and are then nuked by the US Govt.

Are you asking me to see the potential for comedy in this? South Park, for example, WAS funny because a) the creators are Jewish b)Operation Get Behind the Darkie was highlighting racism, NOT advocating it c)it made a serious point behind the humour.

If you read the original post again, there are some SERIOUS doubts about the movies intentions (not that this would ever get made) and I, liberal-minded as I am, would need a lot more explanation if I am to change my mind from thnking that it smacks severely of bigotry...

I still think this is a pretty dumb idea for a movie. I realize you are going for far out humour but this just doesn't work in my opinion.

I didn't mean to come off as "over sensitive" to you Ezikel, it's just my opinion, and I'm entitled to it.

As long as it doesn't show the starvation and abuse displayed on Jews, I say go for it.

I am not making fun of Jews or Germans. I am making fun of Hitler and his Nazi party. The black people idea was bad and I apologize for it. I did not mean to make anyone mad, I just had a crazy (buzzare) idea and thought it was funny and I wanted to share it with the rest of you.

But if you have a different way of making it funnier and what I should take out. I would like to hear it.

I believe everyone on this board understands you did not mean anything bad but your story.

I think the main problem I have is just it seems to be trying to be too funny. I like the Hilter still alive thing. I like the zombies. I think the main part that is turning me off of this idea is the hero. The way he is written in you summary makes him seem like an after thought. I think you should mkae him stronger. Maybe if you explained him better I would like him more.

Another idea would be that Germany was able to launch some nukes too. Since they probably would have counterstrike measures set up. Therefore, most of the American population would be destroyed. I think that way you could turn it into a wierd Mad Max/Evil Dead 2/Dead Alive hybrid. Also, that could give way to American zombies too.

I don't know. I'm just thinking off the top of my head. Hope this gets some ideas in your head rolling. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/wink.gif

Look, I don't mean to go stirring up trouble here, but I probably will, but what about the Native Americans, hmmm? They were forced off their land, made to live in reservations and had their way of life irreversibly(sp?) altered, but in every spaghetti western THEY are the baddies. I know that atrocities weren't committed against them on the scale of what happened to the Jews in WWII, but there are bollock all movies portraying the suffering they endured. And did you know that in the early part of the last century it was legal, under British law, to shoot and kill an Aborigine(sp?) for sport in Australia. You never hear them moaning about it. Learn to for give and forget? You can either turn the other cheek, or go eye for an eye.

Well, I am not a theologist or anything, but I think Christians are meant to turn the other cheek, while Jews are meant to seek out the eye. I might have that arseways, please don't come down on top of me.

Look, now that the whole issue of poking fun at the Holocaust has died down, I must say that this script better be very knowing(satirical) in it's humour as the plot is fairly outrageous( pronounced ridiculous)

i have one thing to say about this whole controversial topic:

Can't we fix everything up with comedy. comedy is funny and takes us away from the reality of shocking horrible things that happen. people are way too sensitive like ezikel said and just making a zombie movie which starts off with world war 2 thing, i dont see how in any way this can be relating to the 60 million people dying because this story has nothing to do with it. its still in the present, nobody is making fun of the past.its a fucking zombie movie, how can zombies be offensive. were there compaints about night of the living dead?
