Anyone else excited about this? They are my favorite band of all time so I have no problem shelving out the money to buy the box set of it. Anyone else getting the box set? Anyone just getting a CD or two? I can't wait, from what I hear the sound is really top notch. If it is on par with the quality of Love, I will be pleased. (I am drawing the line at 250 for Beatles Rock Band: That is ridiculous, though I may find cheap used instruments and buy just the game)

I can't afford the box set. But I love The Beatles so I might get an invidual album or two.

Ill probably just buy individual albums. I own Abbey Road, The White Album, Let It Be, and Revolver so Ive still got quite a bit of buying to do and I may rebuy the albums if the sound quality is that much better.

I already own Revolver, Rubber Soul, Abbey Road, Sgt. Pepper, White Album, and Let it Be...Naked, so I'm not sure what to do. I really want the box because I love the Beatles, but I'm not sure if I can afford to double dip on some of those discs. I'll probably end up finding it too much to resist though.

I'm still not sure whether I should get Mono or Stereo...........I'm not even sure it'll make THAT much difference to me, I love music but I hardly consider myself a audiophile.

Not owning any of their albums (my mom's got all of them), now would be a better time than any to buy them. But first I'll be splitting the cost of The Beatles Rock Band with my brother (just the game; while I'd love to have those sweet ass instruments, I can't afford them).

The Beatles music goes on.

Today (or Beatles Day, as some are calling it) makes me so incredibly happy that the only Beatles album I own is The Beatles: 1. Currently, $180 (Amazon's price) for the box set is a little expensive for me. I think I'll just buy the individual albums, one or two at a time.

Buying the albums individually will most likely end up costing me more money than the price of the box set itself, but this "purchasing plan" works for me.

I stole my mom's copy of Sgt. Pepper's so I could rip it to put onto my iPod. She also got Please Please Me, Help! and Abbey Road, so I'll probably buy some of the other ones she didn't get.

I think I'll get the White album, forget the box set, far too expensive. Plus, I still dont think you can beat listening to the original vinyls. Atmospheric crackles :)

I recommend getting the Red and Blue albums, you gotta get them seperately, but it's got more than the Beatles 1, but 1 is a fantastic compilation too if you do go that route.

I've got every album from the '87 (?) CD remasters, plus Past Masters 1 & 2 and the Anthologies 1-3. I think I have enough Beatles. I would love to hear the new remasters though--maybe someday. Surprised they're not going the HDCD, Blue-ray route with these.

Because of all this hype lately from the game and the new remasters, I've gotten all the albums out again for fresh listens (something I end up doing every few years with Beatles, Who, Bowie, Doors, Hendrix, Floyd and the Stones, becoming obsessed again for awhile with each).

Can't really add anything to billions of words praising this music that already exist--it's just timeless stuff and even some of their throwaways had more personality than certain band's entire careers. Even that's an understatement. Just some of the finest music of any style, ever.

Really fascinated/obsessed right now with the flaws and quirks of The White Album, the energy and vibe of the early poppy shit, and the song "A Day in the Life".

I have The Beatles Anthology sets 1, 2 and 3-in others words all 3! I need to get my favorite Beatles release on CD though 1966 "Revolver" gr8 piece of work! I have the cassette but no longer will touch cassettes like VHS tapes-sure U understand.

I love the Beatles and can't wait. Although I won't be able to buy the whole set, I will buy individual ones.
