Okay, for those that have never heard of this book or the author (I envy you), its by Tucker Max, a self-proclaimed jackass who tells his tales of drunken debauchery. The book has done so well, Hollywood has turned it into a movie

Hmm okay nothing wrong with that, except the stories arent remotely funny...at all.
And I am not one of those people that are deeply offended by his book or whatever, I am all for politically incorrect humor, its just that this douche is terrible at it! And the film looks like an ultra-lame version of The Hangover.

This guy even had the nerve to do standup (which I saw on Youtube) and it was cringeworthy bad. There were moments of long silence from the audience. I have no clue how this dude pulled in so much trim. I heard him talk and he has a major lisp, so apparently thats attractive to some women.

I've read some of his stories on his site, and they are obviously all completely exaggerated. A couple of them are kind of funny, but for the most part they're just basic crazy tales of drunkenness with a lot of exaggeration and bullshit thrown in.

I finally got a look at his book, and it's some shabby story telling. It's like a Dick and Jane for adults males who have looked at Playboy their entire life and are only now learning how to read. The movie trailer didn't exactly win me over either.

i read the book, there are a few stories that made me laugh, but other than that most of them are drawn out and pointless. He just seems egocentric to me. As for the movie, it looks terrible.

Another thing that annoys me is when people compare him to Maddox. Hell No! Maddox is actually clever and witty. Tucker Max isnt either one of those things.

One of the chapters in Tucker's book is about him bringing a breathalyzer into a Sushi lounge/bar. His goal is to blow a .20 and he succeeds. Thats it. There is no big payoff or anything.

I don't think women are that difficult to pull/bed etc. in general after you successfully crack the code (aka figure out what makes them wet). God knows I have no fucking clue, but I've known a few ladies men who didn't seem like the part at all and I still don't know what they saw in them. I like this thing every so often, a regular guy (who isn't very good looking, rich, or a total unrepetent douchebag) stumbles on to the secret of how to make women salivate over you, which I imagine happens about as often as winning the lottery or getting struck by lighting.

Yep, that trailer definitely looks straight to dvd. None of the actors are funny. The only part I got any enjoyment out of was the bit with the stripclub announcer over the phone and even that could have been done better.

I havent ventured over to Maddox's site in years but I do recall a lot of funny shit he has posted. His attitude on things and general miserable outlook on life always put a smile on my face.

Maybe "clever and witty" shouldnt be used for him but I find his meanspirited type of humor pretty funny. His write up on why Dawn of the Dead should have swept the Oscars was hilarious.

The movie looks horrible. The lead character seems like a cliche asshole, much like the real Tucker Max, I'm sure. Like I've said before, Stiffler 2.0. He's a cheap knock off. Plus why does this guy have such disrespect and disdain for woman? Me thinks he got his dick stepped on hard when he was younger and thus this caricature emerged to deal with rejection.
