Yeah, I'd thought about posting this.
It really is a tired cliche. I mean, wouldn't you be worried about shrapnel hitting you?
Well, I guess Wolverine doesn't have to worry. Still.

It's a cliche I happen to love.
The video was hilarious though. I remember watching this during the MTV Movie Awards. It was definitely the highlight of the show.

I watched the 1st airing and I remember going "WTF?" the moment J.J. Abrams showed up. :D

The funny thing is I was JUST talking to my friend about this cliche at work the other day. Great stuff:D

the shot from Wolverine is one of the most obvious green-screen uses I've seen in a long time. At least it was on the big screen.
JJ Abrams is the best part of the video...Nice suit :) .

There are worse cliches but this one is tired, for sure! I can think of so many movies they use this in!

I can think of a lot of movies too and I damn near love all of them.
Loved seeing The Rock walking away from the explosion in The Rundown.
Loved seeing Denzel Washington walk away from the explosion in Man on Fire.
Loved seeing James Woods walk away from the explosion in John Carpenter's Vampires.
Loved it all.
That's why this is one cliche I don't mind at all.

Thats what I think everytime this scene happens. Like in X-2, when the main baddie blows up the ice wall. All the bad soliders are running for cover but this out of shape old man doesnt have a problem just standing with his back to the explosion.
I could see Wolverine not caring. The same with Iron Man and the Tall Man in Phantasm 2. If your are indestructable you have no worries.

My favorite part is the JJ Abrams keyboard solo, he was really rocking out.

The JJ part truly is epic.
Guys/gals, help me out here. What comedian says that he wants to live like Mad Max after the apocalypse fallout and "walk away from the fire!"
I think it's Patton Oswalt, but I'm not sure.
