My birthday is coming up... but i don't know what current movie to watch, please help

Hello, thankyou for taking your time reading this, i really do appreciate it! Well you see, my birthday is coming up really soon, and i'm just going to celebrate it with lots of friends at the cinema. The only problem is i'm not sure what to watch. I live in Australia, so a lot of movies from the U.S haven't come down here yet... so if you could leave some suggestions i'll be forever thankful!

First of all, what kind of movies do you like? And second of all, what is playing where you're at or what will be playing at the time of your B-day?

Hello! thankyou very much... well, i'll answer your questions. I am a fan of any genre, but in this case, any movie that is suitable for friends... i live in Sydney so here are some of the movies that are out;
Men in black 2, Scooby Doo, A walk to remember, On the line, The importance of being earnest, Big trouble, Resident evil, Count of Monte Cristo, Sorority boys, Behind the sun, big fat liar, blade 2, Charlotte gray, Gosford park, high crimes, i am sam, Impostor, John Q, Life as a house, Minority report, Monsoon wedding, side walks of new york, snow dogs, spirit, the mothman prophecies, unfaithful, etc... basically all the past movies that were in the U.S i guess... i hope that helps, thanks again.

LIFE AS A HOUSE (7/10) -
Upon first viewing I gave it an 8/10 but after watching it again I realized it's more of a 7/10. Mainly because it didn't make me feel anything, it is a good movie but it didn't get to me like it was supposed to.

SIDEWALKS OF NEW YORK (7/10) -
A very funny and entertaining look at relationships...

THE MOTHMAN PROPHECIES (7/10) -
Spooky and intriguing. It actually creeped me out. If that's your thing then you can't go wrong with this movie. It gets a 7/10 though because I can't help but feel something was missing...


Anyway, if you want something for everyone and you haven't seen it already then SPIDER*MAN is the movie for you. It was great all the way around and will appeal to all ages... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Some other really good ones are ORANGE COUNTY (8/10) and JOY RIDE (9/10) if you haven't seen them yet...

count of monte cristo is a wonderful film... only 10/10 the whole year so far.
