Brando is certainly considered the greatest actor but the biggest movie star?? Not even close....my opinion of course

De Niro and Pacino are interesting because yes they do belong but they never really shared the box office champion success of the some of the others (Eastwood,Wayne, Newman, Stewart). Jack Nicholson as an actor is someone i have always felt is a bit overrated..i like him...but I mean 13 academy award noms...WOW.

Maybe I'm getting confused about this thread. Are we listing who are our favorites? Or who we think are the biggest stars of all time?

The reason why I didn't list people like Marlon Brando and Paul Newman and Humphrey Bogart is because I haven't seen too many of their movies. I've seen a few of Newman's and Brando's but not nearly enough to list them. And the only Bogart movie I've seen is Casablanca.

But again, I guess I was wrong about this thread's intent.
