Dead Man Walking consistently. Do The Right Thing, Grave of The Fireflies, and Magnolia the first time I saw them.

I'm very seldom scared or moved to tears by a movie, cynical bastard that I am. Generally, if I think a movie is trying to make me cry, my response is the opposite. The most recent movies that have gotten me the closest, where I felt like crying even if I didn't were the beginnings of Up and (oddly) The Baader-Meinhof Complex.

No movie made me cry more than the scenes in last two episodes of season 4 of The Wire between Randy and Carver.

This.

Also:

I am sure there are others, but I can't remember at this exact moment.

I cried three times, both times I saw it.

Generally though I don't cry in movies, because, as this man might put it

I've gotten misty eyed and choked up at some movies, but Children of Men just about had me sobbing. Maybe because I became a uncle at the time, I don't know, but that was defintiely the movie where I just let it all out. Absolutely moving movie.

The Green Mile
Crash
Frost/Nixon

In all cases it was only a single manly tear. Same with the episode called Jurassic Bark in Futurama. Like Quentin, a TV programme has made me cry more than any movie, I had a full on baby crying session at the end of Lisa's Wedding (The Simpsons Season 6).

Schindler's List

Before Schindler leaves the factory after the war has been won, despite saving many lives, felt he could have saved more if he had sold his gold pin and his fancy car. Seeing an enormous man such as Neeson break down only to be embraced by his Jewish wards who are smaller in stature would usually look absurd, but in this case, it's quite sad.

Terminator 2: Judgement Day

When T-101 self-terminates. I get misty eyed every time over a damn machine!

Sophie's Choice

When Sophie decides to send her young daughter to die during the Holocaust. I can't imagine how that must feel. :(

Old Yeller

When Yeller goes rabid and must be put down.

Mulholland Drive

When the night club singer sings that Spanish rendition of 'Crying' by Roy Orbinson. God, her voice is so beautiful and soaring yet heart-wrenching.

Up

Yeah, I'm a sap, but I cried when 'Kevin' was captured by the hunter/adventurer even though she was already suffering an injured leg.

The Abyss

It's more of a 'happy' cry, when we completely see the angelic-looking aliens and their craft when it saves Bud (Ed Harris), as well as the lead up when Mary Elizabeth Masterantonio's Lindsey tearfully apologises and confesses her love to Harris' character.

I don't really cry much, but here's what I do remember:

Actually cried= Forrest Gump (when he's talking to Jenny's grave)

Teary-Eyed= Saving Private Ryan, Unleashed, Crash (the scene where you think the little girl's been shot),

The most recent thing that made me bawl like a baby wasn't a movie, but a video game, surprisingly! The ending for 2002's Final Fantasy X was very moving to me, next thing I knew I was crying my heart out like a lost toddler. And it was a video game!!!!

Surprising the hell outta me (in a good way) since I initially boycotted both Brangelina movies: The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button and Changeling. Like a knife in the gut! Also, Rachel Getting Married b/c it hit close to home, In The Line Of Fire when Clint Eastwood recalls the JFK assassination, and River Phoenix's breakdown/the final narration in Stand By Me.

I didn't cry, but man did I feel "numb" after "Boys". Kinda the same feeling I got after watching Requiem For A Dream.

Emotionally draining is a good way to describe both of those films.

In lieu of movies that made me cry, which I have yet to see, here are some movies that are some movies that got me pretty close to being that sad/happy:

Grave of the Fireflies
Schindler's List
Where the Wild Things Are
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
Requiem for a Dream
The Ice Storm

I'll echoe Quentin and Natty's sentiments and say that the ending of the Simpsons episode in which Homer is reunited with his mother is worthy of getting teary-eyed over just as much as/more than any movie I've seen.

Neverending Story is a killer, I cry every time with that scene!

"They look like big, strong hands, don't they?" That part used to make me cry when I was little, as well as the horse. But since I became a man, big swingin-dick macho sonofabitch that I am, well I've bawled at several. The ending of Romeo & Juliet, the Luhrmann version, when that "Kissing You" song starts playing. The "Didn't Know I'd Love You So Much" scene in Repo! The Genetic Opera, which was odd because I really wasn't expecting it out of that movie. But most of all Man On Fire, I still cry like a little bitch through most of the second half. Especially the ending.

Schindler's List
Saving Private Ryan
Giovanni Ribisi telling the story about his mother and knowing he dies in the movie gets me every fucking time. Then when Hanks tells Damon "Earn this"
Ladder 49

When Gabriel dies, and then Mel breaks down like that
Armageddon I sobbed like a little bitch in theater the first time I saw it
Last of the Mohicans
In the Name of the Father
The Shawshank Redemption
Green Mile
Sunshine
Deer Hunter
The Abyss
During Harris' descent and Mary's talking to him about their marriage and everything else man that shit gets.

Battlestar Gallactica
Several parts made me teary eyed throughout the show. I thought I was going to start sobbing like a little bitch though when Adama said goodbye to Lee and Starbuck. And the President dying. everything bout that episode got me

First I will just like to say as a few others have stated, as a adult male I'm suppose to be marcho, testosterone filled and tough. But hay here is a few that got the old tear ducts going for me.

Cinderella Man: I wasn't expecting this from a boxing film but the story in which Russell Crowe's character puts blood sweat and tears into providing for his family, as a boxer in the movie really moved me and got me misty eyed in a few pinnacle scenes in the last half of the movie.

The World's Fastest Indian: The story of how an old crack pot travels from New Zealand all the way to the United states to for fill a life long ambition of setting the land speed record on an old Indian motor cycle. Everyone doubts him and he is determined to prove them wrong, I found this movie surprisingly emotional and I got misty eyed in a few scenes.

The Crow: Far and above the most emotional movie for me to watch, it moved me immensely when it was first released but the emotions surrounding this film for me have continued to grow ever since. I'm a huge Bruce Lee fan and an equally huge Brandon Lee fan. The film that cost Brandon Lee his life is his best (Rapid Fire would be my second favourite) but with a dark supernatural theme and hauntingly brilliant performance by Brandon Lee. Playing a supernatural being that has come back for revenge its all a bit much for me to watch these days (I would probably be balling like a little girl). Also its always a haunting reminder for me of someone we lost way to soon.

"Saving Private Ryan"-The "tell me, I'm a good man" scene will choke me up everytime.

"It's A Wonderful Life"-anytime I watch it gets me snuffin' (damn you Frank Capra).

"Field Of Dreams"-this one'll getcha if you don't watch out. Also another baseball flick, "The Natural" at the end of the film when he hits the homerun. That one'll getcha too.

Alright, after much consideration, the final scenes of "Schindler's List". Hell, I cried at the end of this the other night when I was viewing it again (damn you Spielberg, twice).

I don't think I'm spoiling too much here. I don't know how to use the spoiler function on the board, so please forgive me.

Miracle in the Rain
Jane Wyman's admission of mourning and loss to the statue in St. Patrick's Cathedral was just so heartbreaking. I cried like a baby. Literally.

The Fighting Sullivans
When the father goes up on the water tower and salutes the train. Heartbreaking!

Schindler's List
When Schindler gives the speech in the climax and then we forward to the big tombstone scene. My god what riveting emotional filmmaking.

Of Mice and Men
The finale with the rabbits. Man!

Marley and Me
When it became clear that Marley was aging because he couldn't climb the hill. I started bawling.

Finding Neverland
When they're putting on the production for the mother and it becomes clear what her fate is.

The Notebook
The climax. God, now THAT'S true love.

Twelve and Holding
Jeremy Renner's monologue to his therapist. Fantastic.

Rain Man
The final scene where Hoffman's character rests his head on Cruise's. Amazing.

When the Levees Broke
From beginning to end. VERY VERY sad.

House of Sand and Fog
When Ben Kingsley is begging his gods for help in the hospital as his wife looks on. My god.

Dark Water (2005)
I know a lot of people hate this movie, but the scene in the elevator in the climax made me bawl loudly.

The Green Mile
"I'm scared of the dark." *sniffles*

Saving Private Ryan
Giovanni Ribisi's death. VERY well acted.

In the last year or so it seems like the only time a movie can get me to come close to tears is if it is either a cartoon or features guys in costumes.

Case in point these two recent ones

The ending to Monsters Inc. - It's pretty much the animated equivalent to the ending of Shawshank Redemption. Such a happy and hopeful yet still emotional ending. Another moment is when Boo becomes afraid of Sully after he demonstrates his growling power. Damn you Pixar.

Carol breaking down towards the end of Where The Wild Things Are and pretty much the entire farewell scene of that movie.

Oh man, that scene is heartbreaking. The emotion and horror on Boo's face matched with her cries and pleads of "No...!" just brought me to the verge of tears the first time I saw that. Damn you Pixar indeed.

I'm a huge softie when it comes to movies... I've cried at:

The Neverending Story
The scene with the horse gets me every single time, ever since I first watched this movie when I was five years old. Hell, my sisters are thrirtysomethings and they still cry during this scene.

Marley & Me
I'm a dog person. This film utterly wrecked me.

My Dog Skip
Same as above.

The Pursuit of Happyness
But they were mostly tears of joy... when Chris finally gets the job at the end, his reaction and knowing all the shit he went through made me want to give him a hug.

I Am Legend
When Neville talks to the mannequin. "Please say hello to me." That's when I realized this guy was all alone and far gone. Even if he actually found survivors, he'd never function in society again. That tore me up. Great acting from Will Smith, by the way.

Cast Away
Yes, I cried over a volleyball.

Reign Over Me
When Sandler's character suddenly starts reminscing about his family in a waiting room with Don Cheadle listening in.

Titanic
At least the first few times, when the movie wasn't getting corny. Still, the ship sinking sequence still has some heartbreaking moments.

Braveheart
Freedom!!

Dawn of the Dead (remake)
Before you all start laughing at me... the scene where Matt Frewer has to say goodbye to his daughter was pretty sad.

Not a cryer, which is why Benjamin Button completely threw me by surprise. For some reason when the ending kicked in, I lost it. It happened both times I saw it in the theater. Mysterious Skin was a heavy going experience. Those are the two times I can remember being more than just a little misty-eyed since I was a kid. And I don't think All Dogs Go to Heaven really counts when you're five. :D

That ending got me. That scene realistically captured a man losing all of his innocence more than any scene I can remember. What a crushing finale that was.
