Band of Brothers for me. I'm about to watch Lonesome Dove (haven't seen it yet). LD is a highly acclaimed series.

Band of Brothers and Lonesome Dove are fantastic, the Return to Lonesome Dove isnt that great but Ive heard Commanche Moon is really good. Battlestar Galactica, it started out as a miniseries and then became a series. Its bad though Im drawing a blank, there's a few that I still need to watch like John Adams and V (80s version).

Finished Lonesome Dove today. Let me just say BOB has some bigtime competition for that #1 spot after watching this epic series. Both are 1 and 2 in my book.

Very. The Corner is great too. Band of Brothers is 10 hours of Saving Private Ryan, but that's mostly a good thing. I've never thought of Planet Earth as a miniseries, but if it is it would be my favorite English-language one.

I've always loved "The Stand" and "It". I dunno why, but to this day I can pop in the DVDs and be captivated for hours.
