Why does everyone think Freddie Prinze Jr so much? I mean he is about the UGLIEST thing I've ever EVER seen! He was horrible in She's All That. I mean it was a good movie and all but they could've got a better looking guy for the jock! Can any of you imagine him being a jock? I know I cant! In I Know What You Did Last Summer he was like so dumb! "I went to go see Missy cause I uh wanted you back Julie." How much sense does that make? I'm sorry but I really don't like this guy.

There's only one problem that I see with Mr. Freddie Prinze Jr, but sadly enough for him...it is a big one!

He seems to be playing the ONE SAME CHARACTER in every movie that he does!!

Dude...you're an actor...ACT like someone DIFFERENT every now and again...it might be nice!

Good observation about him Freddie playing the same character in all his movies. I'd been thinking the same for a while now! Versatility is the road to becoming a fine actor, methinks.

Don't think too much of James Van Der Beek either. Sorry, but ever since that 'Dawson' gig he's been the same guy with a different accent (slightly)! Work on it, dude!

Yes Freddy Prinze plays the same part over and over again (except for The Money Kings where he plays a coked up mobster) but I think he's a kool guy and he's making a living. Him not taking chances with his carreer will most probably end it but he will still be a millionaire and we'll still be ranting about him saying: Where's Freddy Prinze at?

Syd did you ever realize Freddie Prize Jr. was not actually chased by a killer with a fish hook. HE WAS ACTING! You can't ask how much sense does that make because he did not write the script to the fucking movie. Please next time to go to criticize somebody criticize what they do and not somebody else. I completely agree!!!!! I always comment on it and theres always ppl who will disagree with me and tell me how talented he is, but he just DOES not do it for me, and the fact that he DOES always play the SAME character.... really bothers me , but there are LOTS of actors who are like that... but i still dont like him jeje

The sad thing is, some actors get labled as the character they play and then they can only get roles as a character like that. I was shocked out of my mind to see James Van Der Beek in The Rules of Attraction and I thought he was excellent in it. As for Freddy, I havent really seen much hes done that has impressed me. Okay, thats a lie. I havent seen anything hes done that has impressed me. Maybe he would be good if he got another type of role....and he is MAJOR lucky to be married to SMG. Shes my fav.

Freddie Prinze Jr. is just a despicable, AWFUL actor who's also hideous in the looks department. Ugh. I can't stand that smile and gigantic mouth of his, not to mention that deformed head!!!!!!!! EW! He's also talentless, he chooses awful movies and give even more godawful performances in them. I can't stand him.

I don't dislike him. I've actually enjoyed a few of his movies (Head Over Heels, She's All That and Boys & Girls) with Head Over Heels being my favorite movie and performance of his. I thought that was actually a really funny and clever romantic comedy. And he is very good in She's All That too. But he does play the same character over and over again. For once I'd like to see him in a movie that is NOT a teeny bopper high school/ collage movie. And no, Scooby Doo doesn't count.

I'd hardly call Prinze a bad actor, because he does his schtict over, and over, but he does it as well as the material will allow him. Give him a chance to act, and he might surprise you. Think about it. He has been shoved into a corner, condemned to be the popular jock with a heart of gold, and if he isn't getting anything else, he can't take something that isn't there. So, he goes with what's being offered to make his money, and keep him in the buisness. Outside of acting, I'd have to say that he seems like a cool, personable guy.

I liked him in She's All That but like already mentioned movies that followed began to look like BEEN THERE, DONE THAT roles. Well schmoes, he has quit the biz and is now Mr. Sarah Michellar Gellar. :D

I agree with dumbfokker. He seems like a fairly nice decent guy and while I don't particularly enjoy his movies, I certainly don't hate the guy. To me he is kind of blah, doesn't leave much of an impression either way. He's very vanilla. And while I definitely don't foresee any Academy Awards in his near future, I really do not mind the guy. I hope he deviates a little from his usual roles and shows us what he's really made of (if anything.)

Some guys have class (ie Harvey Keitel) and some guys just don't. And that's Freddy. I can't stand him at all. I couldn't stand him in She's All That (actually, I couldn't stand the entire movie) and I couldn't stand watching him in those awful Scooby Doo trailers. Now I can't get his scary face out of my head!! Oy...

Lots of girls my age think he's hot but I say NO THANKS in big, flaming, bleeding letters. :eek:
