About mid-way in the 3rd installment of the Howling, Mary Lou is lying on the bed "asleep" and the guy with the long hair, I forget his name (not the one who had on the white sweater - the other one, with the blazer on) was watching over her. He looked at the triangular birthmark on his forearm and even though he was dressed, his reflection in the mirror seemed like he had his shirt off or was naked. He then gasps at his arm I think, and then the camera flashes back to the same mirror, but this time it's showing the reflection of a tapestry or something and then like a second later, the werewolf comes crashing through the door and kills him.

Now I saw this scene and was completely bewildered. /ubb/confused.gif I have a few questions...

1) If Mary Lou was the werewolf, and she was lying on the bed, how could she have come crashing through the door at the same time?

2)What was the whole thing with the guy looking in the mirror about and why was he looking at his forearm?

3) Why did the mirror show him half-naked or naked when he was dressed and does the mirror play another role or something that I missed?

I would be grateful if someone responded to this post because this scene happened in a matter of about 30 seconds and I was so confused as to what happened. P.S. The version of this movie I saw was edited, so I think that I am missing a few crucial scenes that would have made it clearer. If ANYONE can help it would be much appreciated!!! /ubb/smile.gif

You mean Howling 5.

1. Im not sure on this one, I think the bed was empty when he looked

2. His forearm bore the mark that they all shared. He didnt know they all shared it until he saw it on someone elses forearm, so looked automatically at his own arm in the mirror.

3. mirror doesnt play another role, it could have been an error

Part 5 is the only sequel I liked
