Scary Movie

OK though I did like the film, something that ticks me off is that scary movie paodys scream right (mainly) but scream was a parody in the 1st place!!!!!!! It is easy to make fun of I know......., Friday the 13th etc..... but to make fun of a film that already ,akes fun of other films is just dumb!!!!!!! But don't get me wrong it was funny, but come on people!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll give you that Scream, at times, was a spoof of horror movie cliches, but that was just a part of the many aspects of the film.

I LOVED SCARY MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CAUTION: Major spoilers beyond this point!!!

It has to be one of the funniest movies spoofs, Hell, movies of all time. Timing was great, drama and laughs at the absolute perfect moments. The ending wasn't poor either. I had heard online that it was going to be the same ending and killers as it had been in Scream, it was, but the branched off of that and I loved it.

MY FAVORITE SCENES OF SCARY MOVIE:

1. Drew Becker telling the killer she farted
2. Drew knocking out the trick or treaters
3. Drew (of COURSE) running through the sprinklers/breast/implant stabbing
4. The entire Beauty pagent portion
5. Ghostface getting lit
6. The waazzuupp! phone call
7. Doofy with the vaccuum
8. Gale Hailstorm's running nose in the Blairwitch part
9. The entire bedroom scene at Cindy's house during the part
10. Buffy breaking her own leg in the locker room
11. The "big girl" and the garage door
12. Gale and Doofy running off 2gether (he wasn't really retarded and of course Cindy getting hit with the car in the end

I loved this movie - it was everything expected and more. I have other favorite parts, but I would be here all day. And I think I've already written enough.

Scary Movie was good... NOT great. One of the problems was that some times instead of SPOOFING Scream, it COPIED it. Some of dialogue in Scream (wich was funny on its own) was copied, only they added some stupid joke. But the movie overall is funny, the best part was the I Know... spoof.

That's how I feel Homer, it was very funny, bad half of the lines were taking right from scream!!!!!!!!!

I must agree that I even disliked the photocopied lines from Scream. I also thought that Shorty saying he saw this movie called Scream and that everything that was happening to them happened in that movie was pretty lame - I mean DUH! What's up with the obvious (not funny at all) pun?! The rest of the movie was so hilarious to me that those few lame instances did not take away from the film's overall fun.
