What does every1 really think of....Titanic??

I thought it was ok, but very overted. I probably would have liked it a little more if it hadn't won all those damn oscars (besides the Full Monty, all the other movies that year were great, and each one deserved it), but I really can't balm the film for that part. The specail effects were outstanding, some of the acting was ok (manily the great Kathy Bates, Kate Winset was just plan bad, and Leo was ok) All in all, it was ok, but not even close to ''great''

I'm in total agreement with ya screamer it was O.K. the first time but once was enough. Kathy Bates is great but Kate Winslet blew. I'll give it a 4\10

I don't want to sound like a teny bopper or anything, but I liked Titanic. It was really good and I never really got bored of it, to tell you the truth...

I thought it was great in the theater, but once I saw it on video, I realized just how crappy it really was. Get rid of Kate and Leo, and I'll probably love the movie, but as it is, it's just okay.

The most expensive soap opera ever. I mean the Love Boat had more tightly spun plots! Too over the top, and of course Billy Zane. Nuff said!

I'm a bit byast, because James Cameron is my all time fav Director.

I really enjoyed it, even though Leo was in it. (What a shame he died at the end)

You know what, when Titanic first came out everybody loved it, besides me. I was on my own. But you know what, the reason some people started hateing it (not all), is that it got very popular. Just look at the tv show Survivor, it was hella popular, but when it starting beating tv ratings records, people started saying it sucked. Another film that is kinda like this is The Blair Witch Project, when it first came out in limited release 90% people loved it (every person that I talked to loved it), but it got popular so....well you know (don't get me wrong, there was some who didn't like it from the begining, I am just saying most)Any1 agree??
