God damn regional fixing on DVDs

Region 1 DVD releases kick the shit out of Region 2. I fucking hate that.

Hows this, I brought a SONY model that cost $1100.00 and it's Zone 4 ONLY. Then a month later I found a Pioneer at $860.00, same features and ALL Regoins playable.

How pissed was I, MAJORLY.

Problem is, occasionally Region 2 will pull out a trump card just to be awkward! For example, Hellraiser 3 is the Director's cut and not available in Region 1, Clockwork Orange is the unrated version never released on home video in the US (Kubrick trimmed two scenes himself for the R version), American Psycho includes deleted scenes (but loses the interview with Christian Bale in favour of several short interviews with cast and crew) and films like Snatch and Kevin and Perry Go Large come out first here for a change. Mike Mendez' cheesy fun flick The Convent is available on (an extremely empty) DVD here but is still waiting for a cinema release in the US!
