I think that it is one of the best if not greatest cartoon out now (for kids) I think that the animation is awesome, and the movie will be the same. I don't know if it will do so good at the box office with like mike, hey arnold, and the real killer MIB2. I think it will do good with critics, because the show gets pretty good reviews. I know EW gave it an A- (not the movie; the show) Post thoughts, reviews, and discussion about TPPGM here!

I'm really looking forward to this movie. I like the show, and this seems to be the best animated movie of the summer, beating out Lilo and Stitch and Hey Arnold.

My predictions:

1. MIB2- $45 million
2. Powerpuff Girls- $30 million
3. Minority Report- $25 million
4. Lilo and Stitch- $23 million
5. Hey Arnold- $15 million
6. Scooby Doo- $10 million
7. Like Mike- $5 million

The Powerpuff Girls is pretty cool, certainly not the greatest cartoon ever, but 2D animation needs support, so I'll be buying my ticket to go see this.

Incase you didnt hear they are showing a short of dexters laboratory at the powerpuff girls showings....atleast thats what they say in my newspaper.And on the subject of Box Office,i dont see it opening with more then $11 million,and ending up with more then maybe $30 Million.

Okay...The Powerpuff Girls made $1.55 million on Wednesday, and will probably have around $8 million by Sunday. So, hopefully the Pokémon phenomenon of cashing in on succesful and dumb kids tv-shows ends right about here, since this one tanked so bad. Just one of those films I'll never end up seeing.

Okay, first, Powerpuff Girls is 1000 times the show Pokemon will ever be. It is one of the most funniest, cutest, and intelligently written cartoons on TV today. I thought the movie was excellent fun for the whole family, and everyone seemed to be having a good time, both the kids and adults. And surprisingly it's gotten a fresh rating at rottentomatoes.com

My Opinion

Powerpuff Girls 7/10

What can I say? It had good moments, and you've gotta love Mojo Jojo. I overall recomend it.

Ignore Ebert and Roperts comments about it.

Dexters Labratory: Chicken Scratch 5/10

I love Dexters Lab, but this short would even be a bad regular episode, surely they could have done much better for the screen.

Ed, Edd and Eddy: The Movie, I love that show might I don't know what they could do with it.

I just watched a high guality copy of it on my computer. It was at my theatre for 5 days so I never got a chance to see it. It is one of the best cartoons i've ever seen besides Lilo and Stitch, alot of you might not agree but it should be rated PG-13 because there is alot of action. The trash can fight and the battle with MOJO JOJO. It is a very short movie but I enjoyed it alot. Overall 7/10.

I thought it was not the best animated movie ever. The animation kinda got a little boring to watch after a while, along with the overlong action scenes. The other people in the theater seemed to enjoy the movie, and so did my brother; 5 years old, and die hard fan of the show. But overall I found myself being bored and possibly falling asleep, instead of excited and into the film.

5/10 Power Puff Girls, don't quit your day job!

A Dexter's Lab movie has been made. It's called Ego Trip. Dexter travels through different dimensions and meets different versions of himself. A whimp, old man and buffed up version. I got it on VHS a while ago and it aint half bad.

Personally I can't wait for the PowerPuff Girls Movie. Mojo JoJo is one of the funniest cartoons evil monkeys ever!
