Am I the only one who remembers the great movie titled Ford Fairlane, the rock'n roll detective, by Renny Harlin? I think I'm the only person who digs it.
" You're ten seconds away from the most embarrassing moment of your life... " Awesome!

No I remember it also, it was so funny. It was weird to, because I'd never heard about it and we grabbed it when it first came out, and where pleasently suprised.

"I even have one of these freinds, a transtestical." From the man Ford.

I loved this fucking movie. The cheezie lines, Lauren Holly in that un-fuckin'-believable dress, the car, the koala, Wayne Newton and the hair.

Andrew Dice Clay was hilarious in this movie.. Never a dull moment.

I saw this movie years ago on video, it was one of the most politically incorrect, sexist, filthy films I have ever seen. IT WAS GREAT! Alot of fun, I'm surprised it didn't do better when it came out in the cinemas.

I saw this film ten years ago on video and I hated it. I though it was extremly stupid, badly acted and just crap in all ways. It might be that I just didn't "get it". You guys make it sound like fun... Maybe I have to give it a second change.

Like this movie a lot!!! What's not to like?? My favorite part is when they're falling out of the window, and Ford says, "my hair."

A movie that ya gotta see in its entirety. Regular TV will just chop it to death cause well Clay swears up & down. I was sooooo stoked that I found the soundtrack on CD cause its pretty much outta print. Well cause I love the track the music groups Yello does.
When the movie was out in theatres at the time, and clips of the movie were being shown thru MTV. Well Andrew was banned during that time and ALL scences of the movie showed everyone else in the movie but NOT him. Just some interesting trvia to share ya with.

Billy Idol's "Cradle of Love" video is still pretty fuckin' hot, but I don't really like the movie much now. I dug it back in the day because one of PCU's womynists is in it, and for the soundtrack (cheesy, but I'll never sell it).

What a cheap, filthy, foul-mouthed embarrassment for director Renny Harlin. Where's the DVD???

I saw this in the theater when it first came out, and I haven't seen it since. I've been meaning to rent it for awhile now, I hope it holds up after all these years.

I actually got surprised when I watched this out of boredom one night on Cinemax and really liked it.

I watched it again about 5 years ago, and whaddayaknow I liked it again.

I don't think it was that raunchy of a movie. It was really toned down compared to most of Clay's stand-up (for the better, I think).

I don't have much to say about this movie. It's no revelation to the human heart, just a good old time and a couple laughs.

"Roseanne Barr, Roseanne Barr..." Yeah. Some good laughs here and there.

Man, i love this film and i love the dice man. I have all of cd's and what not. My fav poem: "Little Bo Peep fucked her sheep, blew his nose and licked his feet, she ate his ass so very nice, tounged his balls not once but twice. Ohhhhh!!!" and also, "It's the crinkles in your crackhole, it's your pussy juice that flows. When I cum all over your monster tits, it reminds me of when it snows. Ohhhh!" ........Priceless........

Dice was crude and rude BUT despite what 'critics' said back then (and now) it was and is still a bad ass movie. Gotta love it. Great lines..Jazz in that short skirt/jacket combo kicking ass..

Have you seen this chick? -Ford
<sniff>Is..is this a trick question? -Zuzu
Zuzu Petals?! Who killed Johnny Crunch? Who's Art Mooney? -Ford

Ed O'Neil..heh heh..Al Bundy with a badge..Booty-time...booty-time..across the USA...

I liked this movie as well.

Not a great movie, but a fun time, great soundtrack and some really funny moments. I also liked the cheesy cockney accent that Robert Englund adopted for the flick.

What a cameo list...those already listed, but also Tone Loc and Vince Neil.....

Ya this movie is one of the best underated comedies ever produced.

It is in the same genre as Dumber and Dumber and Strange Brew.

It is politically incorrect and you have to give a movie props for that.

It may be an aquired taste but I find it hilarious.

And it has a great cast.

Check it!

Brilliant film. I'm not a big fan of Dice's comedy routine, but this is one of the funniest movies ever.

Morris Day deserved a Best Supporting Actor nod for this line alone:

"You've gotta shave to wear a dress like that...and I don't mean your legs!"

Ford Fairlane is one of the best detective parodies of all time and a long-time favourite of mine.

"'Booty Time' is the ONLY white disco song as far as I'm concerned!"

Priceless!

PS. It's also still the best movie made by Renny Harlin, and I sincerely doubt he'll ever top it...

Fuck Yeah!

The Adventures of Ford Fairlane was a blast! The Diceman was the shite and I'll always go back to the film for a healthy serving of FUN TIMES!

"Hey, look. I'm sorry I made you clean the toilets and the bathtubs, I mean, who did all the work in bed"

or my fav, one that I use to this day:

"Do my dishes!"
