ROMANTIC MOVIES THAT SUCKED

the "romantic movies"-topic had me thinking on romantic movies i'd thought would be good but actually sucked!
here are my list of those romantic movies that really weren't worth the time i spent in the line waiting to buy a ticket...

autumn in new york (winona is irritating and gere's old-man-still-at-it performance is getting very hackneyed)

the object of my affection (this sucked so big time...jennifer aniston was pathetic)

hope floats (harry connick jnr was in it. enough said)

tin cup (i think i fell asleep watching this...is there anybody out there who found this remotely good?)

what are your choices?

DOWN TO YOU, it's a teen romantic comedy that sucked big time. I really wanted to see it, especially since it had Julia Stiles in it and I loved her in 10 things I hate about you, anyway, it was completely horrible. Not very romantic or funny, just boring and plain awful...

She's all That. That fukkin' movie made me sick. It's overlly corny and cheesy.

have to agree with crynot on "boys and girls"-saw the trailor and decided that my time would be better spent staring at my bedroom ceiling for an hour and a half than having to endure this movie...jason biggs and freddie prinze jnr in one movie? pure torture!!

how could you not like "my best friend's wedding"?..i'm NOT a julia roberts fan but she was okay in this one, but i guess the reason i really liked it so much would be rupert everett as that charming gay guy...that scene where they're all singing in the restaurant just kills me!

I loved Boys And Girls, it's one of the best teen romance comedies I've seen lately, Claire Forlani was great... It was a teen version of When Harry Met Sally, I also loved that movie... I didn't really like Runaway Bride that much but I thought My Best Friends Wedding was pretty good, you gotta love Cameron Diaz, plus the wonderful Julia Roberts... But Boy's and Girls was great, I also liked Loser, Mena Suvari, man she's a great actress, I loved her in American Beauty... Probably the two best of the teen romance movies lately would definately be BOY'S AND GIRLS and LOSER!!!

I liked Boys and Girls as well. Plus I am in lust with Claire Forlani.

Maybe Three to Tango, disapointed but still i laughed at parts.

My Best Friends Wedding blowed big time.

how could i forget "simply irresistible", with sarah michelle gellar and sean patrick flannery..it really sucked beyond measure...

I wasn't at all disapointed with THREE TO TANGO, I was actually pleasantly surprised. It was better than I thought it would be. I though it was a great movie and I laughed a lot and it also made me feel for the characters. The love/romantic scenes were really great and very well done, I thought this was a really great recent romantic movie
and everyone I recommend it to loves it. I certainly fell in love with it...

And I thought Simply Irresistable was alright, I thought it would be A LOT better but it was still alright. Mainly because I love Sarah Michelle Gellar, she definately kept me watching...

gellar and flannery both irritate me, plus the whole idea behind the love-connection was really stupid to me...i really just didn't get that movie...
