Did anyone see the segment on NBC's "Today" show this morning (3/15) about this movie (I believe the title is "Getting Harry") that is being made where almost of the acting roles were bid on by people on the internet? The leading lady got the part when her family and friends bid several thousand dollars; the other roles went for less but still a couple thousand. The filmmakers then wrote the story around the people who won the roles.

What made me wonder the most though, was when Today's reporter was asked if anyone was considering continuing acting, the reporter said "almost all of them want to
continue". Don't these people realize that actors have to struggle for years before they get a big break, and that they don't have to pay for their roles? Also, is it "talent" if you're basically just playing
yourself?
