I have just read the final X-Men movie script in its entirity, and I can honestly say that Hollywood has once again fucked up a comic book movie. Oh, don't get me wrong, the special effects will be top-notch, but beyond that, there's really not all that much to be excited about. The script is so-so, the plot is utter cliche. Remember Spawn? This may be a little (just a little) better than that heaping pile of crap was. But I guess that's what happens when you get a bunch of guys that've never even read the comic and tell them to make the movie. Damn. I knew this'd happen to X-Men, but I was hoping against hope that it wouldn't. Oh well, at least the Spider-Man scripts I've read over are halfway decent. They better not fuck THAT one up....
