Why Do Gays Get Involved in Hollywood So Much?

Someone answer this question for me because it seems like there are 100x more gays on TV and in movies and behind the scenes than in the real world. Also, someone explain Hollywood's obsession with gays in movies and on TV.

And I notice the joke in that word so don't think I don't see it already. If someone else sees it, I'll admit it then.

Actually I'd say that at least half of gay people are still in the closet so I think there is a fairly large underground gay population, so Hollywood isn't exaggerating gaydom THAT much, they are just presenting them all as "out".

I will say one thing though, there always have been alot of gay stars of both sexes' since the first days of film, before that in theatre.

I think it may have something to do with their love of the dramatic, dancing and playing dress up. I mean, just look at Broadway!
