The problem is, Arnold aint in it. Why? Cause Arnold doesn't wanna be in it, unless Cameron directs. And Cameron aint gonna direct.

i think the producers should call off T3 if arnold and cameron aren't attatched.it's probably gonna end up starring linda hamilton and freddie prinze,jr. or some shit

Are you telling me there isn't a big beefy actor out there you thinks capable of filling Arnies size 15's??I think the storyline would be too repetitive if Arnie came back.Time for a big change of direction I think, although T1 and T2 were CLASS movies and up there in my top 20 all time greatest movies.

I think they should make a parody about the Terminator movies. They should send a Terminator back to the times of the Wild West to take out John Connor's great, great, great, etc... grandfather, who was the retired gunslinger that used the be the hot thing with a couple o' six-shooters. That would make for a better movie than any other Terminator follow-up.

Any old excuse to make another western... (and please, that wasn't a signal to make a follow-up to Wild Wild West, pffft)

Holy Shit.

I just heard through the grapevine that Arnold Schwarzennegger has singed on to star in Terminator 3, yet James Cameron has yet to give word whether he will direct the second sequel. If anyone wants to see what a crazy ass action film with an amazingly complex storyline looks like, check out T2, easily one of the best action films of the 90's. Can't wait for T2: The Ultimate DVD edition.
James Cameron has agreed to do a sequel to True Lies though.

Arnold will be back For T3 but he doesn't know if Cameron will direct it yet, but if he doesn't he will definately produce it.

Does anyone know yet if there is a solid script written? What's the main idea or is it too early in the production to say?

I hope it doesn't revolve COMPLETELY around the whole Sarah and John Connor theme. I mean it worked excellently for the first two, but it would definetely be milking it if most of the story was related to them.

I agree that T2 is a great sci-fi/action movie, but it has an amazingly complex story? It was full of holes. Think about it: If they really stopped the nuclear holocost from happening, then how was John Connor born? His father was sent by John Connor to protect his mom. So if it never happened to begin with, there will be no time traveling; hence no Reece to impregnate Sarah Connor.
