Well, I've seen 2 trailers of the Hollow Man. One looks like a slasher flick, where Hollow Man goes to people's houses and terrorizes them, and the other trailer looks like an action flick where they're in some kinda big warehouse or something. They are both different, but theymight just tie into eachother when I see the movie. If you got any info on it, send it here

Thanks, man. It looks really good. I love the man who wrote end of days, and the director who did Starship Troopers. It looks like it'll get bad reviews, but not from me.

I'm pretty excited about the movie. The trailer is creepy, the effects look great, Verhoeven directs so there's gotta be some tits in there...

Hollowman doesn't seem like a blockbuster, but so far the trailers I've seen with all of the different "invisible effects" seem really cool. Thank goodness Kevin Bacon is invisible for most of the movie. They would have to offset his, we'll say "appearance," with a lot of good looking people. So far, I'll definitely go see it in the theatre.

If Kevin Bacon is like invisible for most of the movie, doesn't that mean he's getting paid his millions for about 15 minutes of acting?

kevin Bacon had to act as normal for about 15 minutes. Then after that, he was shot wearing a blue mask or something so they could take out his solid body and add visual affects of him being invisible.

If you haven't already been, check out the official site at:
http://www.spe.sony.com/movies/hollowman

I went there to see what you guys were talking about, and it explains everything. Move your mouse over the DNA style menu and look through everything. Don't forget to scroll down the text (tiny little arrows by the top right corner of the text box), otherwise you'll miss all the info.

Can't wait for the film now.

See, I'm all about this cheesy, horror film stuff. I've been waiting ever since I saw Gladiator the day It opened to see Hollow Man. ( That's when I saw the trailer for Hollow-M./)

Can somebody tell me how to get the creepy tune to Hollowman out of my head??!!

Try banging your head against the wall Silent Bob. It worked when I wanted to get the "Dark City" theme out of my head.

well, in the preview i saw the hollow man is undressing the leading lady while she sleeps so i think you are right and it's for that reason and the fact that the effects for this movie look great that i will definitely see it, too bad it comes out the same day as Scary Movie, i guess i could go to 2 movies in one day.

Just by looking at the trailers on TV and movies, the effects on making kevin bacon invisible are great. they did a good job. /ubb/smile.gif

Here's my take on the Hollow Man movie: "Ooo look at me! I'm a stupid invisble guy who goes around killing people because I don't have to look myself in the mirror!" C'mon, if a heterosexual man could turn invisible, I seriously doubt he'd be able to muster enough mind-power to leave the girl's shower room much less go on a rampant killing spree. Me not likey this movie = ).

Well Parchai:

***POSSIBLE SPOILERS***

Hollowman is actually about a scientist(Bacon) who tests a drug that accidentally turns him invisible. He then finds out that it was actually a setup by his scientist friends. The only problem is that his mind is affected by this drug and he might only be dreaming that it was a setup.

Download the clips of the Hollowman from Joblo's Site. As Joblo said, there may be spoilers, but there's nothing that would give away anything more than the two trailers

Silent Bob you say 'hollow man' is gonna be some cheesy horror flick? Hell no from what I saw this is gonna be a great edge of your seat thriller. I really like the clips where he's fighting in water and you can see him kicking the guys ass in the pool. heh.

this movie sounds like a remake of the 1933, thriller "the invisible man" which i just finished watching today! does anybody now if ti really is a remake?

Mankato

Cow I doubt it's a remake. I think they are just using the invisible man story and that's all. Not a remake, different premise. But then again your guess is as good as mine... you've seen the film.
