Two pretty good movies with the same director and main star. both are crime dramas. I think Carlito's Way was better because it was meaner and leaner and it had a main character that wasn't totally unlikable. It's also more entertaining.

I'd have to go with Scarface... Carlito's Way is close, but Scarface is a classic and it features some of the coolest scenes and best dialogue ever. Carlito's Way rules too, though. Pacino + DePalma = movie heaven

I have to say Carlito's Way, I just watched that today and while I give both films **** and they both rank among my favorites, I prefer Carlito slightly.

All the way SCARFACE. One of my favorite movie of all time. I just can't get enough of it. Everything is so perfect that you gotta love it. CARLITO'S WAY is really good but not as SCARFACE. I'm sorry but Tony Montana is a god!!!!!
