I have read in a magazine recently that Leo could be starring as Peter Parker in an upcoming film!!I think this is a BAD idea.

when I heard that Tobey was cast as Peter Parker I threw a party! I freakin love this guy. All of his work has really been outstanding, unfortunately he is totally underated by the critics.

I heard that he blew them away at the casting.

anyway, it should be a great flick!

Tobey gave his best in The Ice Storm with Kevin Klein, Joan Allen and Christina Ricci...he also was in the semi new Wonder Boys.

Tobey has been in Pleasantville, The Ice Storm, The Cider House Rules, Ride With the Devil, and Wonderboys.

Those are the movies I know he's in - probably more though.

I'm, personally, not thrilled with the selection of Tobey. I've got nothing against him, but my top choice for our beloved web-slinger is the one-and-only, you guessed it, Bruce Campbell! I think if they can figure out a way to tone down Bruce's chin, he'd make the perfect Spider Man. Oh well, if everything went my way then we'd probably see Bruce chopping down Commi-Nazis (Simpsons reference) in "The Piano". BTW, is anyone else horrified that they wanted to "bump uglies" with Anna Paquin in "X-Men"? I mean she's hot, but she was only a kid in "The Piano".
