Bond will be back but what about Q?

As a great bond fan i look forward to new bond films, while Brosnan is not a good as Connery he is a lot better the some of 007s personifications...
But with the great Desmond Lewellend dead what will happen to Q? Will John Clease take over? I hope not, he was too comic and silly rather like Moore so please don`t go there.
I think that the next film should have no Q it worked in other films or build his death into the plot... Bond tracking down his killer? What about you?

You are confusing Q and M. M is a woman and the head of M16 she is not dead. Q is the gadget master Major Bothroid he is the one who says "Listen up 007" and then shows him the gadgets that will undoubtably save his life. GET IT RIGHT!

Being a BOND fan, here's the details.

As Q is dead, R (Q's assitant) from TWINE (John Cleese) will be taking over his position, though as tribute to Desmond, he will still be called R. There we go!
