When does that Highlander Movie come out. That trailer was really sweet. I don't really give a crap about little nickey because it just sounds like Sandler is doing his dumb waterboy shit again. The only thing that looks funny is the Qwentin Tarantino priest thing. That was pretty funny. I do want to see the grinch and really want to see O' brother where art thou. Is that supposed to be a comedy?

The movie that I really want to see is the Cameron Crowe movie, I think the name is "Almost Famous" now. It used to be Untitled. Also the re-release of "The Exorcist." The special edition. I wasn't around when it first came out, and I really want to see it in the theatres.

In fact, The Exorcist Special Edition is going to contain the deleted scene from the original. I'm talking about the "spider" scene, where the possesed Regan crawls down the stairs upside down on her arms and legs. She then lets her tounge down to where you see it like a lizard. It is pretty creepy. /ubb/eek.gif

I am looking forward to only two movies. One you've all heard of, Lord of the Rings. The other isn't very hyped up, which is a good thing. It is called The St.Francisville Experiment. If you wanna learn more about it you can read my preview at:
www.geocities.com/xSCARFACE182x/index.html (http://www.geocities.com/xSCARFACE182x/index.html)

and that wasn't just a plug i just don't feel like writing all that stuff over after i already have it written down.

Um, i thought I should break the news to Scarface... Scarface. Lord Of the Rings comes out next year... i apologise that now you only have 1 anticipated film on your list.

I don't wanna anticipate any movies this fall/winter. If I do, I'll go to see them, and then they'll suck. That's what happens to me everytime I anticipate soemthing. So, let's see>...I'm NOT gonna anticipate Charlies Angels and The Sixth Day.....

Somehow I find fall/winter movies better than the ones released in Summer.... most of these summer "blockbusters" are not really well made... they just have some big stars in it and want to earn some big-time money

Anywayz, here are the ones i'm looking forward to the most:

O' BROTHER WHERE ARE THOU? (what can go wrong with the Coen brothers?)
MEET THE PARENTS (this has my favourite cast in it! it should be really funny)
HOW THE GRINCH STOLE X-MAS (i like Jim Carrey but i'm afraid that he is going to be in makeup throughout the film)
LITTLE NICKY (yah i know adam sandler is a bad actor, but his movie is just so bad that i can't wait to see how bad it's going to be this time!!!!)
SHADOW OF THE VAMPIRE (saw the trailer and read some stuff about this - it's going to be awesome and scary)

Other than that, im sure there are going to be a lot of other good films that we will be able to see during the rest of the year!

Personally, I'm looking forward to "Enemy at the Gates" and "Moulin Rouge," both scheduled for release in December.

If any of you know who is in either movie (*especially* "Moulin Rouge") my jaw will drop off right here on my computer table.

O' Brother Where Art Thou is out over here in about 2 weeks I think and I'm looking forward to that. The trailer makes the film look funny, plus it's a Coen Brothers movie.

Shadow Of The Vampire is the one I'm waiting for the most. Unbreakable and The 6th Day look like they might be good too, great cast in both. Unfotunately, most of these aren't even advertised yet so most of the UK wouldn't have even heard of them. /ubb/frown.gif Thankfully I get my scoop from Cyberspace... God bless the internet /ubb/smile.gif

Enemy At The Gates - I'm quite interested in the turnout of war movies and this one seems pretty interesting. Stars are Jude Law, Ron Perlman, Joseph Fiennes, Ed Harris, Bob Hoskins and the lovely Rachel Weisz.

Moulin Rouge - It's going to be a musical slightly so I'll see the initial crowd response it gets first. Stars Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman.

Hey, someone knows about Moulin Rouge! How does one reattach a jawbone?

Anytime someone makes a musical based on the legend of Orpheus in the Underworld that's supposed to be a "seriocomic tragedy" that definitely grabs my interest. Definitely different for the winter season. Heck, Elton John in his last UK interview said that McGregor can really sing, that he could be a rock star. Some reporter at the Los Angeles times on-line (whose name escapes me unfortunately) called EM's voice a cross between Elton John and Freddie Mercury. That I've *gotta* see.

Jude Law as a Russian agent, what could be better? I'm just waiting for the day he and McGregor make a film together since they're the best of friends in real life.

Due to the overwhelming amount of let downs this year I have a much more subjective and cynical eye for movies. I think they spend more time of developing catchy 2 minute trailers than they do on their 100 + million dollar pictures. So with that I will wait for word of mouth and let the critics lead me down that red carpet of righteuosness. And I might indulge one or two guilty pleasures. But to stay with the theme of the topic at hand........"Get Carter" is the one movie I can't wait to see.
