I've been considering renting with NETFLIX, but the thing that stops me is TIME. Is it a quick process? Or does it take all year to make exchanges and mail stuff back and get stuff and etc.? Is it easier just going to my local video store and renting DVD's there? I think Blockbuster is starting to do this thing to. It's like 19.95 a month at NETFLIX. Anyone customers with them and would like to drop some opinions on the subject matter?

I rent from Netflix and it is extremly easy to use. They give you an envelope to send the movie back in, and you get to keep it for a longer time. I wouldn't rent from anyone else. Plus where I live rental prices are getting outrageous so it's a great thing to have.

I have netflix and I friggin love it! I have the bonus pack where I get to have 4 DVD's out at one time, it's great! With the new movie forum it's great to have, when Joey post the new movie just order it and it'll be at your house in 2-3 days depending in where you live. Where I live now it takes about a day to get here, I wouldn't go back to anyone else. Plus not late fees!

You should all be using NetFlix!!!! But only if you register through this JoBlo special offer: /netflix . Actually there is no "special" offer other than you'd be helping your favorite web site out BIG time. Bart hit the nail right on the head. When the new movies are announced (on Wednesday with plenty of time to order and receive your movie) head to NetFlix and order away! It's actually a lot cheaper than Blockbuster or Hollywood Video and they let you keep the movie as long as you want. I must sound like a complete sell-out but hey, I'd like to keep working for JoBlo as long as I can.....

Hello /ubb/smile.gif I would like to know how long you can keep the DVDs, how many you can order in one month, how much the shipping cost is(cuz that would make a huge difference if I pay 3.50 for a movie rental and only plan on veiwing it 2 times max then I could return it to the 48hrs rental store but if this is actually cheaper and more convenient I want to use it! I am really worried about the shipping costs, that would be expensive.) Please help, ty /ubb/smile.gif

Ive read up on it...so according to the information, the shipping is prepaid, it takes 2-3 days for delivery, you can have up to 4 at one time, and you could keep it as long as you want (if you pay the monthly fee). I havent signed up yet...im pretty ok with the mom and pop shop across the street. =)

You can actually only keep 3 at a time. We just watched CASTAWAY last night and then when i returned it today, we had two more waiting for us...if you watch a movie a night (on average) and then snd the one back the nxt day you'll have a constand influx of movies...it's GREAT!
