SnatchBlow, what's with this editing language? Anyway,I would say "Billy Elliot".*Spoiler*.In the preview, you saw him in a bus with his brother saying goodbye or something. When I was watching the movie,I remembered that and I knew he would go to that school!

Lindsey's right about the language, Snatch. On this board, you can say "fuck," and no one minds!!! /ubb/biggrin.gif /ubb/biggrin.gif /ubb/biggrin.gif

Yeah you can say fuck, it doesn't hurt anyone.

"Cartman: Don't call me fat, you fucking jew!
Mr. Garrison: Eric, did you just say the F-word?
Cartman: Jew?
Kyle: No, he's talking about "fuck". You can't say "fuck" in school, you fucking fat-ass!
Cartman: Why the fuck not?
Mr. Garrison: Eric!
Stan: Dude, you just said "fuck" again!
Mr. Garrison: Stanley!
Kenny: Fuck!
Mr. Garrison: Kenny!
Cartman: What's the big deal? It doesn't hurt anybody. Fuck-fuckety-fuck-fuck-fuck."

Yep /ubb/smile.gif

Yes Hollywood thought that we all turned into mindless idiots and decided to ruin endings for us. That's why I never bothered to see castaway I knew he got off the island. I will see Moulin Rouge though, because of Ewan McGregor.

Yeah but without theatrical trailers giving everything away, we would actually go into the cinema to see such movies as "Dumb And Dumber" and "Dude, where's my car?" having NOT seen all the funny bits that there are to be shown which can be sumed up in 30 seconds!

Studios giving away too much in their trailer/marketing campaigns is really starting to get on my nerves. When will it end? Do the masses have to rise up and ki!! these people?

For instance, I want to see the movie EVOLUTION, but everytime I look up, I'm seeing a new EVOLUTION trailer giving away more than I want to see or know. Save something for the theater!!!!!!!! Is it sooooooooooooooo difficult???? D@mn! Some of us don't want to see the whole entire movie.

Another flick. . .Jurassic Park 3. .I just saw a trailer a couple of weeks ago that again, showed wa-ay more than I wanted to see. It's like the studios don't believe in surprises anymore.

Any suggestions on what we could do to stop this chit?! It irks my nerves in the biggest way.

Believe it or not its not just studio retards that ruin it for us by putting to much in trailers............This is a quote from one of the biggest hacks out there Robert Zemeckis who says(& I quote).

"We know from studying the marketing of movies, people really want to know everything that they are going to see before they go see the movie. Its just one of those things. What I relate it to is McDonalds. The reason mcDonalds is a tremendous success is that you dont have any surprises. You know exactly what its going to taste like. Everbody knows the menu"

I think this spastic director sums it up. Hell he has no shame about relating cinema art to a Big Mac.......Cinema is merly a product to this dimwit. This particular quote was in response to the criticism that the trailers to CASTAWAY & WHAT LIES BENEATH ruined the film for the viewer.

I am to angry to continue ranting but in one quote Zemeckis has highlighted the biggest problems with Hollywood.( that people like him make movies)

I must wonder: what'd you think of Contact???

I personally love CONTACT, but completely dislike his philosophy. The viewers, ultimately, lose out. Again, they don't give us credit.

Don't we all hate movies that give away everything? Don't ask me why they do it.

I rember while watching WHAT LIES BENNTAH (8/10) that the trailer gave that all away also. Plus during SWORD FISH (7/10) there were trailer:POTTIE TANG & OPERATION:TRANGING
they gave the whole movie away. Plus 2001:a Space Odessy trailer give's away so much. Why the fuck do they do shit like that any one know?!!!

What I hate - and I know where else to post this - IS WHEN THEATERS OR TV CHANNELS SHOW THE SAME TRAILERS ALL THE TIME, I remember seeing Enemy Of The State just because I was sick of having seen the trailer about 20 times in one month so I just wanted to get it over with.

The same thing happened with The Watcher trailer, but I missed that one...

I saw a trailer for Fight Club at Stars Wars and it was the most revealing one I'd ever seen! I knew Brad was Ed a good year and a bit before I saw the damn thing!!!
